Jerome's POV

Isat back reminiscing. My first proposal was accepted here, my last proposal wasmade here, and I nearly lost the love of my life here... At the one place I hatedso much, the hospital. Why was I here then? Jerome Junior was about to enterinto the world. I couldn't sit for too long. My wife was giving life. I wasoverjoyed, overwhelmed, over... "Who's the husband?" The midwife asked. "Me, ofcourse" I beamed as I got up and followed her to a room. I heard babies crying.I got nervous and coy. I was redder than a tomato. Suddenly, the midwifestopped at a station where I finally saw her laying exhaustingly on a bed. Shewas damped with sweat but didn't seem to mind as she had a life in her embrace."My son" I whispered as I came closer. "No she's not!" My wife snapped. I wasdisappointed. I really yearned for a junior but either was satisfying. "He is behindyou" She pointed to the midwife behind me. "Oh my God!" I cried as I took mybaby boy from the midwife. "Boy you're lucky. Twins!" The midwife envied. Ibeamed in gratitude. I loved my wife even more for giving me what I wanted allalong. I have never smiled, gloated or feel alive this much before. "I loveyou" I leaned into my wife and pecked her lips. I really do love her. "I loveyou" She pecked back my lips. "What an anniversary gift!" I screamed to mywife. It was our 1-year anniversary and I couldn't pray for another gift thanmy children. God really does love me. "Yea. Now you can remember ouranniversaries since it is your daughter's and son's birthdays" She smirked. Weboth laughed. I am indeed the luckiest man in the world. We have an unbreakablelove that is still heading for eternity, together forevYOk{
