PLEASE DON'T WATCH VIDEO IF UNCOMFORTABLE WITH GAY PEOPLE, sex OR DRUG OVERDOSE, like I for one don't have a problem with gay people, you are who you are, love who you wanna love. But do listen, I like it and I find it fitting for this chapter.
It was easy to hide my arm bruises a week ago because it was cold but now it is stinking hot and I have no idea how I'm going to hide the marks. Suddenly an idea pops into my head, we just bought a goat, a goat that eats everything. Grinning mischievously, I grab all my school uniforms and jump out my window scouting for Meeko, the goat - get it? You know the raccoon that eats everything from Pocahontas? Never mind- I finally found him pacing around where the laundry was drying, just out of reach. Smirking I chucked him my uniform and as promised he teared them to shreds. Quickly gathering up the remains I scattered them about the house as false evidence that Meeko got into the house. Dashing back up the stairs I yanked on a pair of jeans and a cool long sleeve shirt.
"Mum!" I wailed tragically and knelt on the ground holding shreds of my uniform.I could hear her rushing up the stairs "What is it darling?" She asked stepping into my room, in answer I lifted my uniform and she gasped in horror,
"Oh my! Meeko must have found a way in! Can't you just wear another one?"
"No! I would! But I can't! Because Meeko shredded 'em all!" I wailed dramatically again,
"Ok, ok how about you just stay home then?" Well that was better then what I was planning - go to school without a uniform.
"Oh thanks Ma!" I jump up and rush past her,
"Ah wait a second. Can't you still go to class? As long as you explain what's happened to your uniform?" She questions in that way only a mum can.
Halting mid-step I spun around on my heels. "Well yeah..."Smiling she left me to get ready for school, dang it! So close! Grumbling unhappily I proceed to put my makeup on, and yanked on my shoes. Stomping down the stairs I made my way into the kitchen and proceeded to make myself a cup of coffee. I jumped suddenly when a voice broke the silence, "Did he'll just freeze over? Or am I delusional? Because my sister does NOT drink coffee." My brother laughed while I cursed like a sailor under my breath, stupid brain.
Dumping the coffee in disgust I started to make a cup of hot chocolate instead.
"Uh sis, look at the time." Josh coughed and I glanced up,"Shit!" I was gonna be late, I left my hot chocolate regretfully and ran to the barn chucking a halter on Shakespeare and took off up the road.
Pulling up as I reached the end of the road I looked around for the bus and noticed that it was turning around the corner, heading away from me. Crap. I took off after it, spurring Shakespeare on before I finally caught up and waved my arm frantically until it finally pulled up. Huffing in annoyance I put Shakespeare in Mr Homers paddock knowing he wouldn't mind before climbing into the bus scowling at the driver and he scowled right back at me. Everyone on the bus began mocking me and my frantic actions from before, I hated them all. Keeping my head down I trekked to the back, keeping an eye out for feet that were trying to tripe me. There were quite a few but I managed to step over them all and make it to my spot safely. Where I plonked down and shoved my earbuds in and began blasting my music letting the beat calm me as the bus took off.
Suddenly, for the first time in years, the bus stopped at the bus stop on the way. Nobody uses it anymore, but there was one lone figure today who stood with their head down I wondered who it was. The figure made there way to the door and I noticed that is was actually a he and that he looked really familiar but what on earth was he doing out here? I knew for a fact that he didn't live out here because I knew everyone out here from when mum gets me to do deliveries. So he doesn't live here, and he couldn't have moved here because no one has left and he can't be visiting anyone because the ones that I do talk to on deliveries didn't mention him when I occasionally brought him up. The ones that I didn't talk to, they were school kids who wouldn't bat an eye if Devon or I dropped dead. So there was no reason in hell that he should be here, so why was he? As he climbed on the bus everyone grew silent, also wondering what he was doing here I guess. He scanned the bus, at first I thought it was for a seat but looking at his expression he was almost looking at everyone with curiosity which was strange. Then his eyes locked on mine and I gave a weak smile that he returned and plopped himself down next to me. "You know, I never said you could sit down, I could be saving it for someone." I smirked and he turned to face me,
