*7years Later*

Im so tired of this shit. I'm glad I graduated. I know if my brother was here he'd be proud of me, but the people here don't give a damn. I've been to 11 fosters home since I was 10. It was then that I learned never to get attached to someone because you'll always lose them.

I haven't seen Mrs. EB since I was 13. she was helping me find my brother, she said there was no death of him in the state of Michigan.

I've been working so I can get my own place and car. I work part time at Rue21 but since I graduated I've been trying to get a job as a waitress as well. I live in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania.

Life here isn't easy. I'll be 18 in 3 months so that means I'll be on my own. Sheila, my foster mother, reminds me every chance she gets. As soon I come home from work there is something I always have to clean, I'm only a Slave to her.

I think I grew up to be a beautiful girl. I still have all my long curly hair. My skin complexion is light brown thank God I never got acne. My eyes changed from hazel to green and gray, Keam eyes were that color. It was hard for me to gain weight seeing as I was always stressing so I was still you average skinny girl with curves and I stood 5'5.

I looked over at the clock above my head.

"Shit ima be late!"

I hurried out the door and ran to the nearest city bus stop.

I was 2 minutes early for work.

"Nice to see you on time Kia," said my boss Lenny.

"Yea, I barely made it."

"Well Nesse will be 5 minutes late."

"Yes'sir"

Nesse is my coworker we've gotten close but not that close' because I know I'm not gone be here long.

"Hey girl," I looked up to see Nesse clocking in.

"Hey Nesse what's good?" I asked

"Life good in the hood, but girl I gotta tell you something."

"What?" knowing Nesse this is about to be Juicy.

"Girl I'm only gone be .working here for about 5 more months!"

"Girl why?" Even though I knew it was just gone be sooner or later before one of us was leaving.

"Jeremy job sending him to Michigan girl and he asked could I move in with him not to mention MARRY HIM," she squealed with excitement.

"I'm happy for you, when I get my car you can expect to see me there too."

"Chile ion know why yo smart ass just didn't go to college there that's all you talk about, going to Michigan to find your brother."

"Girl you know Sheila wasn't hearing that and I needed money!"

"Damnnnn look Kia brother over there fine A'f!" said Nesse pointing to this black Mexican boy with a small curly fro.

"Dang, Nesse he do look good," I said only verifying the facts.

When he looked our way I immediately started blushing Nesse on the hand was asking me a thousand questions.

"Girl how my hair look? do my breath stank? do I look fat? Can you tell I'm from the hood?"

"Nesse," I said cutting her off, "you look good."

"Excuse me"

"Yes how may I help you?" asked Nesse.

"Can you wrap miss thing up over there tomorrow my birthday and I was looking for the perfect birthday gift," he said.

"Her name is Kia, I'll get her for you; she shy," said Nesse laughing.

"Hey my name is Kia how may I assists you?"

"A date tomorrow for my birthday would be fine." he said sliding me his number. "By the way my name is Tyga, call me Kia it would make my day."

"Umm... okay."

Ion know what came over me, but I was speechless and he could tell. Lawd he was gorgeous, I finally have a day to look forward to.
