I laid in bed scared to move or even let it be known I'm breathing. It's been a week since Ty took my innocence and I can't even look him in the face. He hasn't hit me since that day and he keep apologizing, but nothing is going to work.

I could feel Ty get outta bed getting ready to start his daily routine. As soon as he went to the restroom I ran to the restroom down the hall to take a shower and do my hygienes. Afterwards I was downstairs cooking breakfast. I decided on eggs grits and bacon, something simple.

"Goodmorning Miss Kia!"

I turned around to see one of my favorite maids Elizabeth.

"Hey Miss lizzy."

"Go sit down baby I got it from here," she said hugging me.

"Thank you I really need to get some real sleep."

I love miss Lizzy we have so much in common her daughter was on drugs and left her to tend to her son, but she came back and stole him from her. She never heard from her again. Ion like telling people my life story, so I just gave her a quick run down leaving out all names. Every since then we've been close.

"Kia baby, wake up."

"Mmmhhmm please 5 more minutes," I said looking up to see Ty.

"Kia get up now and come have breakfast with your man!"

"Coming!"

After breakfast Ty left. I wasn't able to rest after that. I got up and went for a ride. I don't know why I came to a halt at Sheila's, but I got out because I did have questions.

"Nice to finally see you after so long," said Sheila walking on the porch.

"Nice to see you too."

"So what brings you around?" she asked gesturing for me to have a seat.

"Sheila why were you so quick to change your mind that one night?" I asked getting straight to the point.

"No reason, you just seemed happy with him."

"Well I'm not!" I said giving her eye contact.

"He has hit you haven't he?"

"He's done more than that," I said fighting back the tears.

"Baby, I tried to warn you. Ty aka Pain is dangerous."

"How'd you know?" I asked.

"Come in I got so much to tell," she said gettin up.

I followed her to the island away from the kids.

"You sure you ready to hear this?" she asked grasping my hand.

"I'm sure!"

"Baby I had a daughter named Tina she was 18."

"Wait..had?"

"Yes had, anyway she started messing with Ty and one day she made him mad. That was all it took he beat her daily leaving marks. She ran away one day and went to the cops. They were so terrified they never helped her."

"So what happened?" I asked really not wanting to know the answer.

"She ran away, my baby came back home to me, but I failed to protect her!"

"How?"

"He found her and killed her in front of me, I knew the power he had so I couldn't say nothing or I'd be next!"

"Oh Sheila I'm so sorry," I said getting up to comfort her.

"No baby don't be sorry that's why I got this foster system, I promised myself I would not repeat the same thing, I will protect these kids, including you!"

"Thanks Sheila, but ion wanna put nobody life in danger, I'll find my own way out, believe that!" I said getting up to go back home.

"Please stay the night I can help you leave out of the state In the morning."

"You sure?" I asked scared it was only a joke.

"Kia, I owe you for giving me this second chance, please it's the least I can do."

"Okay, just let me call Ty and tell him I'm staying."

"Okay, do what you think is best!"

"What do you think?"

"Call him baby so he won't think you've ran away!"

"Yes ma'am," I said walking onto the porch to make my call.

After 3 unanswered calls I decided to leave a voicemail.

"No answer but I left a voicemail," I said to Sheila.

"Okay you hungry?"

"No thanks.."

"I'm sorry for the times I treated you like crap Kia, I was a real bitch towards you."

"It's okay, but thank you for apologizing, I'm going off to bed," I said walking to the sofa.

"Okay Hun, see you in the morning."

Pain POV

Damn I wish Kia quit calling me, I'm getting tops and getting drunk with my boys right now.

"Aye man is that yo girl calling again?" asked Kenny pointing to my IPhone5.

"Man, that bitch aggravating, I'll call her back when I'm ready."

"Man, I thought you said you loved her and you was gone change for her!"

"Mannn fuck that, yea I said it, but I ain't ready like I thought I was, that shit scary!"

"Man a family is a beautiful thing my wife and kids are my world."

"Man shut that sentimental shit up!"

After about 2 O'clock I was ready to go home. I pulled up to my crib a little after 2:30 expecting to cuddle, but my lady wasn't even home. I sat on the bed contemplating on where she could be.

"Damn," I said as I began to pull out my phone.

1 new voicemail.

"Hey Ty I won't be home when you arrive I'm staying the night at Sheila's."

"What the fuck! Sheila wanna do this shit again, Ima handle this!!!" I shouted as if any one could hear me. I grabbed my phone and called up Kenny and the boys.

"Y'all get y'all ass down here to my crib now!"

I explained to them the plans when they arrived. She gone learn today.

"This bitch Finna die today, load up niggas," I said walking out and getting into my 2013 all black challenger.
