Then the door swung open.....

Standing before me was the most sexiest guy I ever saw. He was talking, but I couldn't make out the words. I stared at him up and down. He looked like the guys that would be hanging on all 10 year old girls walls. His light brown eyes mesmerized me, his pink glossy lips that shined brighter as the sun hit them at an----

"Kia!" my brother screamed bringing me back into reality.

"What?" I asked looking up at him.

He looked at me like he was a tad bit angry, but I brushed it off. "Kia Renaè Folkston don't play with me, and this is Michael," he said pointing to boy standing in the door way.

"We have 3 classes together," he said finishing up.

"Hey I'm Kia, I said extending my arm.

"Hey nice to meet you, would you both like a tour," he asked taking in my gesture.

During the tour I couldn't keep my eyes off of Michael. I mean I didn't think nothing wrong was it everybody in 5th grade has a boyfriend. I know I can't go with Michael he's my best friend brother, but that didn't stop me from looking.

After the tour was finished me and Keam said our goodbyes. It was extremely hard letting him go I don't know why I was afraid he wasn't coming back.

Me and Michelle played all day and her parents were so nice to me. We played family games and her mother even painted our nails and toes as we talked about Jacob and Edward, werewolf vs. vampires. I had so much fun. My best part was dinner. Every one came together, prayed, and ate. It was like I was in Happily Ever After movie.

Michael told us scary movies as we toasted marshmallows in their fire place after dinner. Afterwards we played hide and seek with her dad, Mr. Green. When It was time to take a bath we went to separate bathrooms. After my bath Mrs. Green gave me the princess band aids she brought, she even helped me put them on. For some reason I couldn't help but wish my mother was like this, she must was like this before when I was little.

Michelle and I were laying in bed, when I started to think of how much I missed Keam. Was mommy being mean to him? Did she even come home? Is another man there? Is he scared? Is he crying? Do he miss me? I couldn't help but let the tears fall down my face.

"Kia are you okay, did you not have fun?" Michelle asked.

"No I had fun, this was best time I ever had!" I said wiping my tears.

"well what's wrong, were the stories Bubba told too scary? If so I could get him to tell us better stories! BUBBA!" she screamed before I could stop her.

"no its not the stories, I just really miss my Bubby, I just wanna know if he's okay," I said in between sobs.

"girls, is everything okay?" asked Michael

"yea it's okay," said Michelle as she crawled over on my side of the bed and held me.

"Kia what's wrong?" asked Michael.

"she misses her brother and she's worried about him," Michelle explained to him.

just when I began to speak her parents walked in. Michelle explained everything why I just cried. Keam is all I have it scares me that he might not be okay.

"He gave me his number mama, he said this might happen," said Michael pulling out his cellphone. Everybody waited while bubby phone rang, hoping he would pick up I held my breath. After 5 missed calls I began to cry more and tell them that I needed to be home with him.

We all got in car and headed down the rode . On my home I apologized to everyone especially Michelle. I was grateful that they all said they understood and Michelle held me all the home. When we got to my home, our apartment, everyone got out. Mr. and Mrs. Green wanted to talk to my mother about me and Keam staying next weekend, I was hoping my mommy was home and okay enough to talk. When we knock there was no answer, but after 3 attempts we all jumped at the sound off glass and other things breaking against the floor.

Mr. green opened the door and to my surprise it was open and what I saw was enough for me to know it wasn't safe that we should leave, but I couldn't, not without Keam by my side. He never left me and won't leave him.
