Prolude

"Oy vey" Enderlox huffed under his breath. He had known about his powers for a while, but he had been pushed to his limits to often in the overworld, where he was hunted. In the nether his best friends were at home, but he couldn't stand the heat, or the fact that it was all one color area. The End was the same, but at least he didn't have to worry about being hunted. Sky and Jason could pull off looking normal. Sky could hide his eyes behind his sun glasses, and Jason was in his space suit, so really no one could tell. It was near to impossible to hide huge black wings, purple eyes and fangs. Just a little. "Master, the little one wants to see you." the Enderman said quietly. "Thank you. You are dismissed." He said to the servant. The Enderman nodded, gave him the little bundle of cloth, and teleported out if the throne room. Enderlox pulled back the black cloth, only to revel huge, purple and golden specked eyes, filled with wonder and curiosity. Her soft dark brown hair covered part of her face, only making her look more like her father, ruler of the Ender's realm. "I promise I will keep you safe, my little Lyra." He murmured, sensing that he may not see her for a while. Enderlox loved her like any father, just he couldn't see her very often, making those few moments even more precious than they already were. Sky and Jason had arrived, each saying that it was risky having a child, espesaily one of her parentage. "Fine, you can take her, just swear you'll keep her safe." Ender hissed in his friends ears. They both nodded, knowing that it was a promise only waiting to broken.

The pair made thier way out, only for Sky to mutter, " If we die, I blame Ender.". Jason only rolled his eyes.
A couple years later.

Lyra's POV

I don't call myself that any more. Most people call me Danny. Yeah, yeah, I know I'm girl. I'm tall for my age, 5 foot 7, and i have dark brown hair. I have purple eyes i tried to hide by turning them blue, but one stayed solid purple. To clear up confusion, i covered that eye with my long hair. On the bright side, I've learned how to hide my wings, ears, and fangs. My wings never came out unless I was alone, in danger, or in ender form. For my ears I just wore some headphones that cover them intirely. Really I didn't have fangs unless I went into my ender form. That hadn't happened in a couple of years. Sky and Jason thought it would be good if I went to school. I'm a hybrid, I felt like saying. Did I mention I haven't spoken in years. No one knows why, even I don't know. "Your Danny, right?" The women at the front desk asked me. I nodded my head yeah, not knowing what else to do. "Ok then sweetie, you can sit down right there. Someone will be here in a minute to show you around." the lady said with a fake smile. She was trying to be nice, but I could tell she just wanted to be as far away from me as possible. And that was fine by me. I looked through the folder I was given and looked at my schedule. Well, at least I have realms class for last period. I was positive that I was the only hybrid here. I just hoped that there was someone nice that wouldn't treat me like dirt. When I took the IQ test, I was smarter than most kids my age, but they bumped me a year down any ways. "Hi there! Are you ...new...here." The kids voice died off as he realized I was a hybrid. Screw my life. "My names Nate! Yours is Danny, right?" Nate was acting like I was deaf. I'll just have to live through this year, then I'm home free! Right? All I can do is pray to Herobrine that the school year ends fast. If not, then I'm definatly transferring.
