This is a new start for me. As long as I'm careful, nothing should happen. I might make friends, but that is a dream long left behind. It's a long story. "Uh, it looks like we have most of our classes together. Just makes our lives a little easier, right! Right? Can you talk?" Nate quizzed me. I shrugged, my favorite answer of all time. "This is a boarding school, so we pretty much live here all year long, except for breaks, which don't come often enough. Ohhhh! Your really lucky! " wait, how am I lucky. "Your roommate is Jaclyn! She's really, really nice." Nate said over my shoulder. Can't this kid ever shut up? Nate grabbed me by the hand and dragged me down the hallway. "Here's the one class we don't have together. I'll get to see you after class, alright?" He said as we neared a door. I nodded, thankful that I wouldn't have to find my classes on my own. Now that I think about, Nate's more like a kid than a 14 year old teen. This school is messed up. The classes was just about to start as I walked in. "Class, I said there'd be a new student, well there she is! I expect you all to be kind to her and no making fun of her." Like that will work. The teacher wrote something on the board, leaving me confused and standing up there like an idiot. I can't read normal english, only ender, so i know this is going to suck. "Honey, you can sit any where you want." The teacher said with a warm, happy smile. She's more like a pig or a sheep, but anyways... I nodded and made my way towards the back of the room. I've learned that if I sit in the back, kids won't bug me so much, and I'll be able to see them. At he very back corner, there was a open desk. I sat down, put my books away, and the class started. It was human history. Good, that'll work to my advantage. "I'll be right back class, so finish your notes and read when your down. And no bothering Danny, got it?" As the teacher's heels clicked farther away, kids started to ask questions. "Hey, your names Danny, right? Can you talk?" A kid asked me from the front of the room. I nodded. "You need some help?" The same kid asked. I shook my head no. "How much money do you have?" I shrugged. "Lay of her Manny." A couple kids muttered. "Why should I? I could put your parents out of work in a moments notice. And we almost have the same name, so of course we'd be best friends." Manny said. I growled menacingly. That shut most kids up. "Manny, if you don't sit down, I will slit your throught in your sleep." Some kid said from my left. Thank Notch for that. "My names Aaron, isn't your's Danny?" Do they not realize that I don't want to talk. After a while, class was over and I sat outside the class room for Nate. Through the sea of kids, I saw his black hair bobbing through the crowd. "Thats the only class you'll have today. Tomorrow, you'll go to your other classes, but for now, the principal wants you to rest up. I think Jaclyn might be there. Who knows." He said as the two of us made our way through the mob of kids. After a minute, we made it to the dorms. "Yours is the last one on the right. Good luck." Nate said as he ran to his next class. Might as well get it over with. The stone halls only made it worse as I went closer to my door. The small key they gave me fit perfectly. I jimmied the lock and it popped off with a click. "Hi! My names Jaclyn, whats yours?" Was what I thought I would open the door to. Instead, Jaclyn looked like she already knew my name and where all my stuff was. "Hey Danny. I already put some of your stuff in your room. Just look for the pitch purple room. That's yours." She said. I like this girl already.
