I was so close to kissing Fionna when suddenly, BANG! We're in the pool not by choice. But how did we get slammed into the pool? Pretty sure no one pushed us, I had perfect balance so I couldn't have slipped. Maybe Fionna slipped, but how does that effect me in any way? I swim up to the surface of the water and look around for Fionna, my hair impersonating a curtain on my face.

"Fionna!" I yell out, attempting to uncover my face. I succeed with my mission of freeing my face and scan the pool too find Fi. Haha, like my new nickname for her? Fi. Okay Marshall, think! I dive my head under the water and look around until I see long golden hair scattered around from Fionna's head. I swim closer to Fionna, hoping she's okay. She forces her eyes open for a split second before shutting them once again.

At least she knew who saved her. Shut up, Marshall, that isn't the point! I grab her arm that's sticking up in my direction and yank her towards me. Ouch, sorry Fi. If I could die, this would be killing me seeing Fionna like this. I wrap my arms around the defenseless girl and swim as fast as I can to the surface of the pool. I get to air and loudly exhale, laying her limp body on the toffee ground that's supposed to be cement. I shake her a bit and she doesn't wake up.

I try CPR on her and all fails. I check her pulse that is slowing down every 3 minutes. "Fionna?" I whimper. She doesn't respond and just lays there unconscious. "Cake!" I start to panic and the only thing I could think of was to yell out for Cake. Being Cake -having her super hearing- she runs out in a hurry. "Oh my, what happened here?" She asks. "Idon'tknowbutweendedupinthepool," I say as quickly as I can. She pulls a puzzled face. "What?" I get frustrated. "Help!" I exclaim. "Yep," she says quickly, ignoring my rude behavior.

She grows into a gigantic cat and I grab onto Fionna before hopping onto Cake's back. "Do you think Fionna's gonna survive?" I ask worriedly. "Marshall, Fionna's a strong girl. She won't give up on us to easily." Cake replies, making me smile sadly. "Where are we going?" I ask stupidly. "Where do you think? The hospital of course!" She exclaims.

Every 3-4 minutes when no one was watching, I'd kiss Fionna's forehead in hope she would feel it. All this time with Fionna and I've always felt like our friendly relationship was missing something. Love. I know Fionna's only 15, but she's the other half. I may be dead, but she makes me feel like my heart's beating faster. Sounds cheesy, but she does. I just don't want to tell her yet. She's too young.

"Good little girl, always picking a fight with me. You know that I'm bad, although you're spending the night with me. W-What do you want-" I start crying before I could get the chance to finish the song. Like, I know that someday everyone's gonna die and I'll just keep living but I just don't want Fionna to die today. And I also know this isn't my fault, but I just can't stop myself from thinking it's all my fault.

"Fionna?" I whimper again into her ear. She doesn't budge and I sit her up and her her tightly so her head rests on my chest. I feel her slow heartbeat and hug tighter. "Don't die on me yet," I say. We get to the hospital and I sprint inside, not waiting for Cake. "Help!" I scream as soon as I enter. A couple nurses rush to me and start worrying. "Oh Marshall, what happened here?" The nurse asks. "I'm not sure, I hugged her and then all of then sudden we're in a blue cordial pool," I say, making her confused.

"Okay, thanks. Fill out this form and then you can come in," She says. They carry Fionna into the room and lay her on the bed. (I was watching through the door window). I start to fill out the form for Fi. Okay, first question. 'Sex', well I'm pretty sure she's a female. Okay, number 2, 'Age', She's 15. 3rd question, 'Address', She lives in the grasslands. Finally, 4th, "Phone Number', I actually don't know this one. Cake runs in and sits next to me. "Cake, I don't know this last one," I tell her.
