Ever since my accident a week ago, I haven't been able to keep away from Marshall and sadly, we haven't spoken about the kiss. The closets to kissing is holding hands and maybe play fighting, if you count that as romantic or something. We walk in the Candy Kingdom's castle in a room with a large pink table. "Take a seat," Gumball says to Cake, Marshall and I. I smile back at him, still a bit peed about last week.
I smooth out the imaginary crinkles out of my dress and walk to a seat, sitting. Marshall sits on one side of me and Gumball, the other. I sigh, great.
"Gumball, why are we here exactly?" I ask him. "Didn't Cake tell you?" He asks, causing me to shake my head. "Cake said we were just going to visit you for an hour or two," I tell him. "Well, you're here for dinner. The kings, queens, princesses and princes come here tonight to discuss some rules for Aaa," he informs me. "Well, why am I here?" I ask him.
"I told you, you're taking my place when I die and I need to train you for that day," he tells me. "What about Lemongrab?" I ask. "You know how she is," he says to me. I nod and force a smile to spread across my face. I look back at Marshall who looks at me then grabs my hand, rubbing in a circular motion on the top of it. I smile at him and he goes a faint pink. "I'm gonna be a princess one day," I say to him, pouting. "I don't like the idea of dresses," I complain. "I like the idea of you in a dress," he whispers in his deep voice. I blush a deep red. "You're cute when you blush," he tells me, poking my nose.
I giggle and Gumball taps my shoulder. I turn around and Gumball points at a King made out of water. "He's the Sea King. He has a daughter and a son, both around your age," he informs me. Two kids walk out from behind him. "They both look around 13," I state. "Exactly what I said," he tells me. "I'm 15!" I hiss at him. "It's only 2 years," he informs me. "It'll be 3 in 4 days," I say, referring to my birthday on Tuesday. "3 years isn't that long," he says. "It is with age!" I hiss, controlling myself.
"So if you were 3, it'd be like living for a decade, right?" He rolls his eyes. My hand trembles and begins to have a mind of it's own, slapping him across the face. Marshall leans forward to see what's happening. He widens his eyes and smirks at Gumball. He looks at me and smiles approvingly. "Wanna go?" He asks. I nod. "Goodbye Gumball. I'm not a dog, you can't train me." I tell him. Marshall picks me up and makes our way out of the pink castle.
"Do you wanna talk about it?" He asks, putting me on the chocolate dirt beside a tree. "No," I mumble. "C'mon, you can tell me anything!" He says. I smile at his cuteness. "Fine! It's stupid so don't laugh," I tell him. He nods and I continue, "Gumball said that the Sea King had two children around the same age as me. They ended up to be only thirteen so I said they were nowhere near my age. Then he started to be a sarcastic jerk," I sigh, going red.
"That's not stupid, you have all right to be mad," he tells me. I move towards him and he bear hugs me. I free my hands and hug him back. "Fionna, I'm sorry for kissing you then never saying anything afterwards," he apologizes. "I'm not good with emotion yet." He tells me. I laugh at him. "No problem, you can make it up," I tell him. "How?" He asks, getting the idea.
"Like this," I kiss him and he cups my cheek. He goes on his knees and I sit on him, my legs each side of his thighs. I wrap my arms around his torso and he wraps his arms around my neck. I run out of breath and try to pull back. He doesn't let me go that easily, because he just pulls me surprisingly closer to him.
He makes a noise from the back of his throat and I feel myself blush. I didn't know I affected him this way. We pull back. "It's only 6, what do you wanna do?" He asks. I look at his wrist and think back to when we were in the dining room of the big castle. "How do you know it's 6, there were no clocks!" I exclaim.
