I sit (more float) on (above even) the couch while strumming my guitar, thinking about how Fionna pushed me away. Why would Fi do that? The memory of what happened 20 seconds before doesn't leave my mind, creating a headache to brew inside of my head. I lay (still floating) on the couch and put down my guitar. It's still daylight so I can't go anywhere and where exactly would I go to? I hate Gumball and Fionna rejected me not that long ago.
Bored, bored, bored. Sooo bored. Maybe you should call Cake? No, she hates you as well. Why does everyone hate you? What did you do to them? Well, there was that time where you tried to drink the red from Peppermint Maid... but that was ages ago! My throat goes dry and my eyes start to water. No, Marshall Lee the vampire king does not cry!
But it's no fair because I saved Fionna's life and then she pushes me away when I try to kiss her! Does that sound fair to you? Wait, who are you talking to? You're going insane! My door flings open and Fionna storms in. She grabs my wrist by surprise and drags me off of the couch (but I'm floating??)
"Lets go adventuring," she orders. "What if I don't want to?" I ask, smirking. "I wanna adventure!" She exclaims. "I thought you would've hated me beca-" I get interrupted by her voice, "I don't care, that's the past now." I sigh. "Fionna, do you remember anything about me before your accident?" I ask. She shakes her head, "No, why?" I shake my head as well. "Don't worry," I reply.
She nods and I get up, grabbing my axe guitar. Her hand around my wrist burns in a good way, making butterflies erupt. She smiles and pulls me outside. Light shines from outside of the cave and I walk back into my house, escaping Fionna's grip. "We have to wait 'till dusk," I tell her. She nods and lays on the floor with her arms and legs spread out as far as they could. "What are you doing?" I ask, swallowing down my laughter.
"Waiting until dusk," she answers. Okay, I can't help the laughter from popping out. I laugh hysterically, resembling the Ice Queen. She pouts. "What?" She asks. "Oh nothing, nothing at all but the fact that is a extremely weird way of waiting," I tell her. She nods, "I know."
We both laugh and I join with her on the floor. I hear my phone ring and I stand up to get it. I see a bug crawling on the counter top so I squish it. It turns into a phone (A/N: Like in 'Go With Me' but with Marshall Lee). "Hello, this is Marshall Lee," I say into the phone. "Oh, Marshall, I found out what that potion was," Gumball's voice says. "How did you get my number?" I ask without even thinking about what he previously said.
I see him blushing now. "Don't worry about that, I found out what potion you gave Fionna!" He exclaims. I float up to my bedroom. Wait, potion? "Yes, a potion." Oh, You must've thought out loud. "Well, I'm not getting any younger here!" I exclaim. "You're not getting any older neither," he mumbles. I growl at the statement. "It was a forgetfulness potion, it erases any memory of the last person they loved and I believe that last person was you... but there is no proof that she doesn't love you now," he tells me his prediction.
"How do I get rid of it?" I ask. "You mean how do I cure it?" He corrects me. If my fist could go through the phone right now, I'd punch him. "Yes, now tell me how to make her freaking remember me again!" I yell. "Language!" He exclaims. I growl at him and he regrets his decision. "Just do things that you think will trigger her memory strings," he fortunately tells me. "Good bye," I say, hanging up.
"What was all the yelling?" Fionna asks. "Oh nothing, hey! It looks like the sun's gone done, wanna adventure now?" I ask. "Heck yeah!" She exclaims as she reaches for her sword. I grab her by her arms and float outside of the cave. She covers her eyes and I cock one of my eyebrows up. "What are you doing?" I ask. "Heights, I hate heights," she tells me. I fly even higher and she peeks through her fingers before screaming again.
