"Alex? Can you hear me?" Alex heard her father's voice ask. She pulled herself up and excitedly opened the tent door.

"Dad?" She called, looking around frantically for him. Her father came out from behind the bushes where he was hiding. Alex rushed to him in a wave of excitement. She engulfed him in a huge embrace and he hugged her back with equal amount of joy.

"What are you doing here? How did you get here? Oh my goodness, Dad, you have to leave before Pe-" Her father cut her off.

"Before Pan finds me?" He finished, she nodded, eyes still wide from excitement and worry. "Pan can't hurt me here, look love, there's no time to explain alright. You're dreaming but I am here, I promise you." He attempted to summarise the situation up.

"But, but if I'm dreaming how am I to know that you're really here?" She asked, for all she knew she could be having another weird dream about aliens again.

"That's where you're going to have to trust me okay? And trust yourself, you need to learn the difference between dreams and reality. But that's not what I'm here for."

"How do I get home?" Alex asked, that's all she wanted to do right now, go home.

"That's where you have to listen carefully." He began, Alex nodded and listened to every word he said. "Okay, so that girl you met, Cecelia, you have to find her and you need to join up with her. I haven't got enough time to explain why but just do it! She may be your only hope! Don't trust Hook! Don't trust any of the Lost boys! And do NOT under any circumstances trust Peter Pan. Got it?" Alex nodded.

"Got it! But where do you have to go, you said you haven't got much time, where are you?" She asked, but she never got the answer. Her father disappeared, the last words she heard were, "sorry, I love you".

Alex gasped, she jolted up from her sleeping position and took deep breaths. She felt two hands closing around her shoulders and turned around quickly. It was Peter, of course.

"Are you alright, love?" He asked, she remembered her father saying not to trust him, but he never said not to be nice to him and not get killed.

"Yeah, yeah just a bad dream." She assured him, he smiled and out stretched his arms. Was he honestly looking for a hug? Alex awkwardly accepted the hug, when his arms were wrapped around her he pulled her down gently back into a lying position. She faced him, his hand still on her shoulder, she let out shiver.

"Cold?" He asked, she shook her head.

"No, I'll be fine." She answered, but anyone would be able to tell she was freezing.

"No you're not, come here." He told her and motioned with his hand for to come closer, she once again shook her head. "Come here." That was an order, not a suggestion. She scooted closer to him and he wrapped his arms around her. She was surprised at how warm he felt, considering how cold hearted he was. But she felt... Wrong in a way. Like she was betraying her father's will. If that dream was even real. Could it have been? Her father was in a jail cell, she was in Neverland, rules of contact may not apply.

"Peter?" She began, she heard a faint 'hmm' in reply. "Why can't I go home?" She asked, he smiled at her warmly.

"Because, why would you want to go home to people who treat you terribly, to a lifetime of worry and to know everyday that you are slowly getting older. Slowly escalating toward your last breath. When you could live here, nothing bad ever happens here, unless you break the rules, everywhere must have rules. And you never have to worry about growing old." He explained, this gave Alex a sense of how Peter thought, how she could manipulate that.

"But what if I wanted to grow old?" She asked, "what if I want the weight of the world on my shoulders sometimes?" He seemed to frown slightly at this.

"Of course you don't, and even if you did you still wouldn't get off the island. Only I can get in and out of Neverland." He told her, she leaned her hand on the ground and pushed herself up to look at him.

"How did Wendy and her brothers get off the island?" She asked, Peter chuckled at this, but he seemed to have forced it out.

"Err, love, that's another story for another time." He said, she knew not to push that subject too far and then something clicked in her mind. She grew a smile on her face and looked at him, he frowned slightly. "You're smiling, what are you planning?" he asked, she laughed quietly.

"Are you sure there isn't anything I can do to get off of this island?" She asked as two of her fingers began to walk across his chest.

"Nope, nothing!" He spoke confidently, she then got closer to him.

"Nothing?" She whispered, it was only now when Pan heard the seductive tone in her voice that he realised what she was doing. He started to rub her arm slowly.

"Well, there might be one." He teased, she kept her cool and then got even closer to him, their foreheads not far away from each other.

"And what's that?" She asked innocently, he chuckled.

"Guess." He told her, she thought back to what Cecelia had done to help her escape. That was dedication, this felt like even more dedication. She slowly inched forward, savouring the distance while it lasted. Then before she could press her lips to his the tent door opened. She pulled away quickly before the person saw anything. It was just one of the Lost boys.

"What do you want?" Peter sighed angrily, the boys really annoyed him sometimes. The boy felt quite worried by Peter's tone, scared he might give him a 'talk', which has proved successful every time.

"T... the girl, she's gone." He stuttered out, Pan's eyes widened. Alex showed no emotion but on the inside she was coming up with a plan to escape and find Cecelia.

"Well then, what are you standing around for, go find her! Start by Hook's ship, I have a feeling that's the first place she'd go. The boy closed the tent and Alex could hear him running away.

"So..." Alex spoke, attempting to break the tension. "About that guess." She leaned into him again but he shook his head.

"Oh no, I don't trust you once Cecelia's on the loose." He told her, "deal's off." She gaped at him, she felt cheated. " But if you want, you can still give me that kiss" He winked at her, she glared at him and turned the opposite direction. Just then, it started to rain, the tent was obviously not very good when it came to water prevention.

"Bloody great!" She commented, she heard Peter chuckle. She began to feel cold again, she wasn't going to tell him but it was like he read her mind. He pressed against her back and once again put his arms around her. Subconsciously she held one of his hands in her's because of how cold it was.

"I'll call you for breakfast." He told her, she yawned and nodded in reply.

"Yup, breakfast, eggs and toast and yum." She mumbled a lot of nonsense to herself.

"Night love.' Peter said and kissed her shoulder as they both drifted off.
