that carried on for then next week and to be honest, niall was tired of it all. all hope was gone, every single trace of it.
he had completely believed that harry gave up on looking for him and thought he was already dead. so when melanie pulled out a laptop with harrys face on it, niall was ecstatic. "harry!" niall cried out in happiness. "niall? niall!" niall heard the familiar voice call out. nialls happiness was soon cut short when melanie slapped him. it suddenly became silent, the only thing audible was nialls ragged breathing.
niall looked up and stared longing at harry. harrys heart broke at the sight, his baby boy (self promo at its finest) had bruises littering at every inch of his skin. not to mention how much weight he had lost, but what made everything worse was the look in nialls eyes, they werent the sparkling blue harry had fallen in love with, instead they were dull, no hope shimmering in them. it was as if all the life had been sucked out of him.
"you wont get away with this melanie! the police are already looking for you! and when they do, oh boy, i will make sure you never see the light of day ever again." harry started out by yelling but by the end he whispered harshly. by now, lilo, zayn and family nearby had come to see what all the commotion was about.
tears pooled in nialls eyes, he missed harry, his harry. he just wanted everything back to normal.
a harsh knock surrounded the room, silencing everyone. melanie, confused, opened the door, not expecting it to be the cops. "let go of me! wait till my father hears about this (hp reference right there)!" melanies voice drifted as she was dragged away from the crime scene.
an officer went on his knees and looked niall up and down, he looked horrible, honestly. his bones being very noticeable, bruises littered his body, a busted lip and a black eye. harry felt jealously pool in his stomach but he shrugged it off, the guy had just saved his baby.
