Atabout 9am the babies woke up and Megan and Joseph fed and changedthem then played with them a little. They started to get fussy soMegan and Joseph swaddled and rocked them. They put them in thebassinet and set it next to the bed. Megan pumped then washed thebottles and was getting back in the bed when there was a knock on thedoor then Crystal and Nick, with Crystal pushing Devin, and Jessica,pushing Abigail, and A.J. came in. They all sat down and talked.About twenty minutes later there was another tap on the door then Dr.Powell came in. "I thought I'd find you guys in here. I went toyour rooms and didn't see you so I figured you were here. Do you guyswant to stay the second day or go home?"

Allthree girls said, "Go home" at the same time. They alllaughed then Dr. Powell said, "Okay I'll get your dischargepaperwork ready. You guys going to be in here or you going back toyour rooms?" "We'll wait here" Jessica said. "Ustoo" Crystal said. "Okay. The nurse will be right in andI'll see you all in six weeks" Dr. Powell said. They all saidthank you and she left. Megan called her mom to come get them. Thebabies all woke up within five minutes of each other. The girls andJoseph fed the babies then the guys and Megan changed them, swaddledthem and they all passed them around. Megan had Abigail, Joseph hadDevin, Crystal had Annabella and Jessica had Caleb. After about fiveminutes they switched. Megan and Joseph switched and Jessica andCrystal switched.

Aboutfive minutes later the nurse came in and they laid the babies intheir bassinets then they all went over the paperwork. Once they weredone Nick and A.J. went to get the car seats. Jessica and Crystalhugged Megan and Joseph then went back to their rooms to get readyand Megan and Joseph changed and gathered their own stuff. Meganpumped then bagged the milk and cleaned the bottles. She was puttingthe bottles back and packing up the pump when Rachel came in withboth car seats and the cooler. "Hey. I already put the bases inthe car and I thought you might want their blankets too since theywere in the car seats" Rachel said. She set the seats on the bedright as Annabella started fussing.

Meganwent to get her but Rachel said, "Can I?" "Go ahead.She's probably hungry. There's a bottle at her feet" Megan said.Joseph picked up the cooler and said, "I'm going to go get themilk from the nursery." He left and Megan got the car seatsready. Caleb started crying while Megan was working on the second carseat so she set it down and picked him up. She grabbed the bottlefrom his side of the bassinet then sat on the bed and fed him. WhenAnnabella was done eating, Rachel changed her then Megan said, "Mom,come switch with me please." Rachel laid Annabella on the bedand took Caleb.

Megangrabbed the diaper bag and got her outfit out then sat down and gother dressed. She picked her up and set the car seat on the bed thenput her in it, doing up the straps. She turned the car seat aroundand adjusted the straps then set her seat on the floor. Joseph cameback in with the cooler and set it by their stuff. Rachel was justfinishing changing Caleb. "Mom can you bring him to me please?"Megan asked. Megan went into the diaper bag and pulled out hisoutfit. She set it on the bed then took Caleb and laid him on thebed. She got him dressed then strapped him into the car seat, turnedthe car seat around and adjusted the straps.

"Baby,can you let the nurse know we're ready please?" Megan asked. Henodded and left the room then Megan put on her shoes and went to thebathroom. When she came out the nurse was there with a wheelchair andJoseph had all the bags and the car seats on the bed. Megan said, "DoI have to use that thing? I can walk just fine." "It'shospital policy, Ma'am" the nurse said. "Baby, just goalong for the ride please" Joseph said. Megan sighed and satdown. "Pass me Annabella please, Baby" Megan said. Hepicked her up in her car seat and set the car seat in Megan's lap. Hepicked up all the bags and Rachel picked up Caleb then they headedout. Joseph set the bags down in the main waiting area, got the keysfrom Rachel and went to get the Escalade.
