It was around eight when Noah and I finally finished showered and getting dressed. We had decided to head to a nearby restaurant for dinner since we were too exhausted after the marathon. Noah and I were both in the elevator when he first spoke up.

"You look beautiful" he commented

"Thank you" I replied looking down at my plain nude dress. It was nothing special. The elevator dinged and the doors opened.

"Give me the keys" Noah demanded as soon as we left the hotel. The cold breeze hit against my bare legs but it was refreshing.

"Why? I am capable of driving" I walked towards my car sitting into the driver's seat. Noah smiled before sitting on the passenger side. The journey didn't take as long as it was supposed due to less traffic. As soon as I parked my car Noah shot out of his seat asking me not to get out. He then ran round to my side, opening the door and then helping me out.

"Being a gentleman I see" I teased taking his extended hand climbing out of the car.

"I try" he winked hold out his arm waiting for me to link mine. I laughed as I did so. We walked in, heading straight for a booth while Noah called a waitress over.

"Hi, my name is Alice and I'll be your waitress. What could I get you?" She asked smiling brightly at us. Well, at Noah. She had beautiful long brown hair with a body any boy would go crazy for. The way she looked at Noah wasn't sitting well with me and I had no idea why. It shouldn't bother me right? Of course not. Noah smiled at Alice before facing me again.

"What do you prefer?" he asked handing me the menu, patiently waiting for me to reply.

"Ermm...I guess I'll just go for the chipotle" I decided looking back at him waiting for his order.

"Great, I'll take the same. And bring us lemonade too." he beamed handing the menu back to Alice. Her face had fallen but it lit up once Noah looked at her again.

"I'll be back with your food in a minute" she said before walking away. Noah and I sat in silence for minute before he decided to break it.

"You feeling okay?"

"Yeah. Why wouldn't I?" I questioned

"That was quiet a run back there" he laughed but I knew he was laughing at me not with me.

"Shut up. I wasn't that bad" I slapped his arm and he just laughed louder and harder and I swear I heard some girls sigh (in a good way).

"You're so embarrassing. Shut up!" I exclaimed but it was the last thing I wanted. His laugh was heavenly and I couldn't help but smile as he tried to get his breath back as he wiped away his tears.

"What?" he asked when he caught me staring.

"Nothing" I shrugged still displaying a small smile. He narrowed his eyes at me but let it go when Alice returned with our food. She gleamed at Noah while she completely ignored me.

"Finally" Noah pushed my plate towards me smiling before taking his own.

"Dig in" he winked before doing the same. Alice looked at me for a second before rolling her eyes and turning back to Noah.
