Two

I walked to English after tutor had finally come to an end. Tutor was plain anoying. Just a group of people who knew exactly who you are and love to point it out. Miss Stevens opened the door for me as I stepped into the classroom and smiled at me. I looked over at my seat and Josh(my best friend)'s seat which was next to mine; empty. I walked over and grabbed my pencil case before throwing my bag under the table. As I looked up, Josh was already through the door and laughing with his friend Christopher. "Emma, what's up?" He said, still chuckling and hugging me from the side as he sat down.
"Hey," I grinned.
"You coming out after school?" He raised an eyebrow at me.
"Probably. But I have a shit ton of homework due tomorrow so I don't know."
"Goddamn it Emma. Can't you just delay homework this one time? For me?" He stuck out his bottom lip and batted his eyes at me childishly.
"Ugh," I breathed,"Fine. Just this once!"
Josh chuckled again and opened his book to start writing. The rest of the leason flew fast. We'd help eachother with parts we didn't understand and have banter at the same time. I loved our little jokes.
All the way up until lunch was like nails on a chalk board: dragged along and gave me one hell of a headache. Even break was a bore. At break I sat with the girls but all they did was talk about Millie the new girl. So at lunch I sat with Josh and Christopher. Holly joined me too.
"You should have heard him, Emma, talking about you the whole science lesson, he was!" Christopher teased.
"No I was not!" Josh rose his voice and shoved Chris so he fell off of his chair. Holly laughed but I just smirked and rolled my eyes at Josh.
"After school come to mine first?" He shouted across the table to me and I nodded. But I did not expect anything that happened beyond this moment.
