Broken || Kaneki x Touka

"Hinami" I told her as I grab her shoulder, spinning her around so she was facing me. Her eyes were bloodshot red and she began sniffing. "I-I'm sor-" I began but was off when she pulled me into a hug. "I-i missed him. W-why could he j-just stay a l-little l-longer." She cried into my shoulder. "Hin-" "You don't need to keep saying sorry. You're not the one who felt my. You didn't tell him to leave he... He did it on his own." She whispered. But I did, I told him to never come back and because of that the girl I swear to myself that I will do my best to make sure no tears fall from her eyes... and now that I'm starting at her I noticed that I caused them.

"Please stop crying. I hate seeing you like this." I told her pulling her away from the hug. I brought my hand to her eyes and with my thumb I wipe the tears that were falling away. She gave me a friendly smile and I smiled back. "I'm here for you Hinami and I promise you that I won't leave you." I told her before standing up and dusting myself off.

  "Do You still want to get a book?" I asked. "No it's getting late and like you said you have to go and study" she replied to me while she wipe her tears away. "Ok so let's get going then." I told her before grabbing her and walking home. We walked for a couple of minutes in silence until she said something. "Touka?" She questioned as she turned her head to look at me. "Yea" I said. "Will you ever get a boyfriend and fall in love and have little touka babies?" She asked causing my eyes to widened. "Umm I don't know, in order to fall in love I need to meet a guy who loves me enough." I said looking down.

"Kaneki stop touching me, I'm trying to study you idiot." I said swatting his hands away that were on my waist. "You're always studying, you don't ever have time for me." He groaned before throwing himself onto the bed. I couldn't help me smile when I turned to look at the pout he had on his face.

"You know I have this important test coming up. Once I finished then I can pay attention to you, alright ?" I asked. But before he answered me he picked me up and threw me on the bed and laid next to me. He pulled me closer and my head was now on his chest and I could feel his chest moving up and down with every air he inhaled.

"This is way better, just lay with me for a couple of minutes." He whispered and I nodded. When me and kaneki would be together I didn't feel like a monster or like people were after me. I felt safe like me and him were the only ones alive. "But then I have to get back to studying alright ?" I said as I lift up my head to look at him. "Sure" he replied and placed a kiss on my head after I put my head back.

"I love you Touka" he whispered and pulled me tighter.

"Touka?" Hinami asked snapping me out of my thoughts. "I'm sorry I kinda zoned out what did you say?" I asked looking down at her. "That you will find someone who loves you. Just wait on it" she giggled and turned her attention straight ahead.

I did find someone but he left and now I will never love again.
