Grace's POV
I sat in the kitchen, waiting for my parents to call. I waited and waited until the phone rang. I rushed over, waiting to hear the news. "Hello?" I questioned. "Hey honey. Your mom and I won't be home tonight. Will you be okay?"
"Yes dad. I will be fine. I love you."
"Love you too."
"Bye."
"Bye."
Perfect. I hung up my phone and raced up the steps to my bathroom. I hopped into the shower, taking an hour to finish. As I got out, I grabbed my razor. I sat on the toilet doing the usual. One for my mom, one for dad, one for Maddie, one for my dog, one for my cat, one for my razor, and one for YouTube because why not. After wrapping my wrists up, I got changed and ran downstairs to find my sweatshirt. As I looked around the house a thought played over and over again in my head. Tell Maddie what's happening. She needs something dramatic to happen in her life. After finding my hoodie in the basement, I ran for my phone. I'm going to tell her. As I dialed her number, I waited for her to pick up the phone. No answer. I called again. Still no answer. I turned all of the lights off and sat in the dark, all alone. It's what I normally do when I'm all alone.
