Cosmic Aches

I was drawn to your gravity, your radiance and likeness

And rose-tinted eyes that reflected a certain darkness

My amber eyes glistened luminously like a supernova

As I went spiralling out of my orbit, losing control over

.

I burned a nest of stars for faded trails leading to you

I melted my vanilla sky for a fresh, sweeter start anew

I stole some andromedas, I bruised the sun and moon

I dismantled constellations for a single wishes' plume

.

I pondered loudly, by weary taciturn nights, on when you'll arrive

I wondered if my onyx cosmic heart would even manage to survive

But all that hope garnered me was a destructive painful black hole

When our universes never intertwined to birth a pure iridescent soul.
