A Final Nuanced Farewell
Would you say, my dearest one, that your lost soul still cries?
After listening deaf and joining in an infinite parade of lies?
You've numbed down all the pain and dodged the bullets
You've danced in a rain of blood and bid farewell to death
.
Would you say, my love, that this chapter is completely over?
That you've had your fair share of loss and quaint adventures?
You fought for the gold crown and carried that wayward sword
You vied for a royal heart that you never won until you got bored
.
Ma cherie, don't be the damsel in the tale that laments early demise
But instead be the fearless warrior, bold and roaring, fierce she'll arise
For your storybook is not yet finished, though some pages may be torn
But you have the ink and quill, so write chapters and be a phoenix reborn.
