Chapter 11

AN: I don't know what happens in a court room let alone how long it last. So if any of this wrong my bad.

The judge says "Good morning everyone now I will like to start right away so (y/n) can you come to the stand please." So you go to the stand and start to feel nervous.  As soon as you sit down the judge asked you to state you name and the reason your part in all of this. So you say in a calm, clear voice "My name is (y/n) and I am here because my dad almost killed me and another person. Just out of his own anger and rage." The judge then looks at your fathers lawyer and nods. I think this was his way of saying he could talk to me and ask me questions. Then the lawyer says "Hi (y/n), my name is Mr. Grimes I have to ask you questions and you have to answer honestly. Is that ok?" "That's fine. Ask away." You respond. "Ok then, how long has your dad been abusive?" Mr. Grimes asked you. "Well he has hit me sense I was a baby and he violated me sense I was 8." You respond and as soon as you answered everyone in the room gasped. "Do you have any proof of this?" He asks you. "Yeah there is a video my friend took when we were 9 and I was wearing a dress. You could see all the bruises and scrapes on my upper  and lower legs. Then there is a picture of me and the same friend at the pool when I was 10. I was wearing a two piece bathing suit and you can see bruises on my stomach, arms, legs practically all over." You tell him as you hand the judge the phone to watch and look at the evidence.  When they finished watching the video Mr. Grimes looks over at you and says "Why didn't you ever try to hide the bruises? You knew they were there, you weren't self conscious?" "Well I was a kid I didn't know. I loved swimming but as soon as I turned 11 I figured out that the pool, shorts, dresses, and skirts would be my enemy." You respond as a tear ran down your face. You look up at Inna and Jake and they just have disbelieve on their faces. You look at the lawyer you and Andy have named Mr. Winchester and he too had disbelieve on his face.  "What about school friends. Did they ever find out or ask about it?" Mr. Grimes asks. "Well you have to remember I only have 2 friends and they never found out. When they asked I would just say I ran into something, fell, or I would blame it on my imaginary cat." You answer with a deep breath trying not to cry. "Ok, well tell me about your life. Go back to the farthest memory you have and tell me all about it." He tells you. No one has ever heard this. It's always been between you, your dad, and the four walls of your house. "Well" you say with a deep breath and continued to say "I remember very few things from my childhood. I just remember I was 4 or 5 and I was crying because I fell outside in the backyard. I ran to my dad because I have a scraped knee and I needed a band-aid but instead of getting a band-aid I got locked inside a closet for 3 days. I didn't have any food or water. I was still a baby and you locked me away for what? For crying because I tripped over one of YOUR beer bottles you left outside!?! I was your baby girl and you left me in there. I just wanted my dad to help me but instead I got locked in a room left for dead!! I'm pretty sure the only reason you let me out was because Tia's mom was at the door! If we didn't have that play date that day I'm pretty sure you would have left me for dead. You would have let your baby girl die in there alone and scared! I WAS A BABY THAT WANTED HER FATHERS LOVE BUT INSTEAD YOU FORGOT ABOUT ME!!!" You were in tears and yelling at your dad at this point. "Ok calm down, calm down." The judge says looking at you. So you nod continuing your story "Then when I was 8 I was in my room sitting at my desk. I was reading a book and writing a summery about it for homework that was due the next day. Then out of no where my dad comes in and starts to hit me. I didn't do anything he was just mad because his football team lost. I tried to run away but he just hit me so hard I fell to the floor and knocked out. I woke up to my dad being on top of me with his..." You just broke down in tears. "Take as long as you need" the judge says. "Can I go over there and try to calm her down?" Andy says and the judge nods. He ran over to me and hugged me. he whispered in my ear "It's ok, it's ok. I'm here you don't have to cry. Just take deep breaths ok? In, out, in, out." You breath with him and start calming down. "Are you ok to go on?" The judge asks. You nod and take another deep breath as Andy is escorted beck to his seat. You continue to say "He violated me. I didn't even know what sex was, I was a child and that was the first time he touched me. The rest of the stories I have are just the same. They all start with me doing something or looking to him when I am in trouble and it ends with me getting hurt. Ether it be mental or physical abuse." "Ok well now lets move on and get Mr. Biersack on the stands" The judge says.
