Chapter 9

Tia woke up. She rubbed her eyes with her shaky hand. "Where am I?" Tia said in a raspy voice. I ran over to her and hugged her. I then said with concern in my voice "Your in the hospital. Do you remember what happened?" "Yeah. After I left the party I went to the store and I saw your dad and when we left he saw that i walked to the store. Alone at night. So he said that he could take me to my house so I went with him. I th-thought I could trust him but h-he just" she said at a tear ran down her cheek. " Its ok. I'm so sorry this happened to you." I said as I started to cry with her. The doctor came in and said "Good morning Tia. Your stats look good. How are you feeling?" "Good" she said still crying into my shoulder. "That's good. Can i speak to Tia's parents alone?" The doctor said in a concerned voice. "Ok" Tia's mom said as they followed him into the hallway. We couldn't really hear them but I didn't really care about that. I just wanted to know what happened to Tia. "Where was Alex during all of this. Didn't he go to the party with you?" I asked starting to get mad. "It was my fault he wasn't there. Calm down." She said. "What do you mean?" I asked. "Well I kind of told him that he could go and plus he wasn't having a lot of fun. I forgot about him so he was alone and people were picking on him asking where his girlfriend aka you were." She said and continued to say "Mark was the guy I was with and he said he would take me home so I just didn't need Alex anymore. But then Mark's girlfriend came and took him away. This is all my fault." Tia then began to cry harder. I was hugging her when her parents walked in and told us what the doctor told them "so it looks like we will be testifing against your dad (y/n). The first court date is in 2 days." Tia's dad told me and Andy. Andy then looked down at his phone and told me "sorry but Jake wanted us to go back home." I gave Tia one more big hug then I whispered to her "everything will be ok, i promise" then I smiled at her. I could see a tear fall from her cheek but I could also see hope in her eyes. Andy and I then left thr room back to the car. As we were walking out the same security guard that helped us earlier stoped us and said "so I took that man that hurt you guys to the police station and the cops told me you two will have to testify tomorrow moring at 8." Andy shook his head and the guard walked away. We make our way to the car and I get in. I then told him "so.... about yesterday night..... um" "sorry it won't happen again" he told me. "Oh no it was fine but does that mean that you like me back? "I asked and looked down. I could just think bad things like he doesn't love you and your not good enough for him but to my surprise he said "well of course I like you. Why wouldn't I like you? I mean look at you, your drop dead gorgeous anyone that doesn't like you must be blind." I could tell I was blushing hard. People would probably mistaken me for a tomato. I was freaking out in the inside though. Like Andy likes me or at least he thinks I'm beautiful. Then Rebel Love Song came on and broke the awkward silence. "So why do we have to go." I asked Andy. "We have to start packing for warped tour." He said I was so confused. "I thought warped tour wasn't until 2 weeks?" I asked. "Yeah but trust me those 2 weeks are going to go by fast since we'll be busy." He said turning to me. "Oh what do we have to do because I thought it was just packing and that's it?" I told him as I turned to him just to see him already looking at me. "Well now we have to go to court, get a bus, buy food, find a driver, pack, and form the set list." He told me with a smirk. I just nod and started to sing along with the song "Take your hand in mine it's us tonight this is a rebel love song" then Andy starts to sing along with you "hearts will sacrifice it's do or die!" Then you both sing in harmony "this is a rebel love song wild and running for one reason they can't stop us from our freedom!" And both of you sang your little hearts out untill you got home.

You guys get home and as soon as you walk in the door you go to your room. I just sat down on my bed and Inna comes in and says "so what happened, you and Andy have been gone all day and have bandages on?" "Oh well I got a call this morning saying that my best friend was in the hospital. So Andy took me to the hospital and we run into my dad and he starts to hit me. But Andy comes in and saves me" she them cuts you of by saying "how did he save you? " "He beat up my dad and I got a security guard. My dad is in jail now and Andy and I have to court tomorrow. Also my friend got beaten up by my dad do but she is ok. Now she has to go to court." I answer her. "Oh thats horrible. How do you feel about all of this? " She asked. I can tell she was concerned but I just wanted to get this day over with. "I'm ok. I am going to bed." I say and she says in response "oh yeah of course you need rest. You have a busy day tomorrow." She then leaves and you start to take off your makeup and brush your teeth. Then you get into pajamas which is just a big shirt and underwear. You then fall asleep kind of anxious for what will happen tomorrow.
