One aspect of traditional Korea that has survived is widespread respect to those who are older.

To respect to the elderly and those senior in years is highly regarded.
It is Therefore not advisable to wait until those more senior have take their seats,and it is also make a good impression if you stand up when somebody mote seniors enter the rooms.
