2. P' Fing's Nosiness

"I am happy for you and Tee, Fuse." She poked me on the ribs repeatedly and laughed evilly. Then she drew a line of the lipstick we were making a review earlier on my face.

"Hey! What are you talking about? I do not know what you mean!" I answered in protest, but deep inside I was giggling.

"What am I talking about? I am talking about you and Tee, silly! Uyyyyy." She pinched my cheek and I just scowled at her.

Pii Fing really loved to tease me with Tee. Well, she really had an idea of what my real relationship with Tee was. She saw us in my room while making a review with a black face mask when Tee was about to kiss me. So every time Tee would come over to our house, she would ask me what I and Tee did in my room. She was so nosy!

"Are you sure you do not need a chaperon? I mean... Chiang Mai is... Mmm... I mean you might get tired carrying your bags while touring around Chiang Mai, and Tee cannot help you because he has his own bag to bring too. So, it'll be a big help if I'll be there to aid you. You know what I mean." She smiled and wiggled her eyebrows.

Oh my sister! She's really... something! I just rolled my eyes at her. I was about to turn when she grabbed me again and shook my arms, begging.

"Please, please, Fuse. Just let me go with you." She was giving me her puppy eyes.

"Hmmm. Wait." I said and tapped my cheek repeatedly. She stopped shaking me, and watched me with her eyes wide. Well, she had big eyes, beautiful big eyes, and they're wider as she watched me thinking. "Ah. Yeah. Okay. I agree..." I stopped as she shook me one last time and yelped in excitement with my agreement. She even clapped her hands and was about to hug me when I continued my sentence.

"... but Tee said, pii Tan will also be there. Yeah, I remember he texted me that. So, will it be okay with you if you will be stuck with pii Tan, pii Fing?" I lied because I knew she hated him. She lost all the excitement on her face just as fast as she had it earlier. I remembered pii Tan shooed me when I came to their house one day. I did not know that on that day, he had his heart broken by my sister. Poor pii Tan.

"Eeeeeeeh! I hate that man! Well then, I am not going with you anymore! I hate the sight of him!" She turned and muttered something I couldn't understand because her stomping feet, as she made her way to her room, were louder than her mouth.

I woke up early on Thursday. My bag was already packed the other night. I brought a towel, just in case the inns we would be staying lacked one, three shorts, five shirts (since I am sweaty), and my underwear.

"Are you sure you don't need us to see you off?" Mom asked me as I was wearing my shoes and was about to go.

"Yes ma. I'll be fine. I am not going abroad, just Chiang Mai. And, it will only be until Sunday." I answered as I stood and gave her a hug and a kiss. "Thanks for this ma."

"Yeah. You are welcome son. Just promise to take care there, okay?" She let go of me and patted my head. Just then my sister, pii Fing, came.

"Don't worry with his safety there ma. His boyfriend, The Super Tee, will be there to protect him." She teased and laughed maniacally.

"Pii." I whined as I rolled my eyes at her.

"Fing!" Mom snapped at her and pii silenced her laugh. She turned to me and hugged me again. "Well, just be careful, dear."

I stuck my tongue out at pii Fing and saw her pouted. I waved goodbye to both of them and went out of our gate to wait for a cab that will take me to the train station. It was still six o'clock in the morning, but the traffic couldn't be trusted, though it was already summer break.
