Halloween Special (PART 2)

Kurapika's POV:
Y/n looks so pretty today. She's been my best friend for a long time, and a crush for a while. I love her laugh. Her smile. When I'm with her, I always feel at ease, even when I cry. That's why... That's why I love her.

~mini time skip(to when they're inside the party and are with Killua and Gon)~

"Yo" says a white-haired boy.

"Killuaaaaaaaa!!" I hear Y/n shout as she tackles the boy into a giant hug.

"Baka, stop it, it's embarrassing!"

"Hehe, no regrets!" Y/n says while getting up off the ground(from when you tackled him).

"Y/NNNNN!!!" This time it was Y/n who got tackled. And by none other than Gon.

"Y-you don't have to kill me..." The poor girl mutters.

"Huh? Could you repeat that, Y/n?" The confused little cinnamon roll asks.

"Ehhh, nothing," Y/n says, then turns to me and yawns, "Kura-channnnn~" she says in a flirty tone...which made me blush a little. I guess she didn't notice.

"Y-yes Y/n?" I stutter slightly.

"Carry me. Or else I'll steal all of your perverted magazines. And sell them. After showing Killua...AND GON" she demands coldly.

"I'm not interested in those types of books" I reply calmly. I wasn't lying, I find those books very disturbing.

"Lies. I found them under your bed." She states matter-of-factly. And that's when it hit me...

Leorio...I'll kill you next time I see you!

"O-okay, I'll carry you, your highness." I say, just before I sweep her off her feet and into my arms. She blushed at this.

"Baka, you didn't have to..." The slightly embarrassed girl says.

"Ooh, what did I miss out on?" A smirking Leorio says while wiggling his eyebrows at Y/n and I.

"Wh-what do you mean?" (*Cough* Justin Beiber *Cough*) says the girl in my arms.

"Don't worry about him" I tell her.

"You can put me down now.." Y/n says, looking away. I gently bring her to her feet.

Y/n POV
Kurapika gently put me down. I tripped thanks to my heel landing on its side. Bracing myself for the fall, I expected to feel the cold hard ground against my face. But, to my surprise, I found a pair of strong arms hugging my waist. I turned and saw him, Kurapika. He wore a charming smile as he helped me up. "A-arigatou gozaimasu" I managed, just barely. I was too embarrased to look up at him as I spoke.

"Not a problem, Y/n."

What he did next surprised me. As a slow song started to play, he took my hand and pulled me closer to him. "May I have this dance?"

"H-hai" I reply shyly.

I awkwardly look down, hoping I wouldn't fail at dancing. The truth is...I don't know how to dance. I moved my feet off beat, making my balance unstable. Kurapika seemed to pick up on this. He told me to put my feet on his as he danced with me...It seemed like this moment could last forever.

What I didn't know was that Leorio and Killua were taking pictures of Kurapika and I...Gon was just watching intently and innocently. Leorio was silently fangirling as Killua got atleast 50 pictures...

~timeskip to after the song ends~

Y/n POV still
I caught Kurapika staring at me a lot after our dance. I tried not to make eye contact. I was already flustered. Kurapika got up and motioned for Leorio, Killua and Gon to exit the room for a moment. After the three boys exited the room, Kurapika confronted me.

"Y/n I..." He started.

"You what?" I eye him curiously.

"I...I love you, Y/n...and I—" I interrupted him with my fangirling giggles.

"It's alright if you don't feel the same way, I mean—"

I interrupted him by giving him a short peck on the lips. He shut down for a minute...then he got back into reality. "Y/n...will you be my girlfriend?"  He blushed while speaking.

"Hai!" I exclaim happily.

So far.... This was the best Halloween party ever. I got to spend it with the love of my life.
