'Maybe it isn't so bad here, after all..'

I thought as I fell asleep yet again, in the arms of Chrollo Lucilfer.

Dawn arose as I lifted my heavy eyelids, a yawn escaping my mouth. Sunlight filtered into the room through a window on my left. I looked down and saw that I was in a rather comfortable bed.

"Morning Y/n-chan" I turned my head to see the dark haired man. He sat in a chair beside my bed.

"Goodmorning Chrollo" I smiled softly.

I gave a small yawn as he sat on the edge of the bed, beside me.

"I'm gonna get up now—"

"No, you have a fever. Rest up for now"

A fever huh...

I started to doze off quietly as I saw Chrollo come back and say he would check on me soon. Half asleep, I started to loose more and more consciousness before drifting off completely.

~~~~~
When I awoke, I surprisingly felt a lot better. Chrollo wasn't here, so I went out to look for him. None of the lights were on, so I was beginning to think everyone was asleep. I checked the time on my phone: 2:13 am.
I started wandering cluelessly, as I hadn't had a proper tour of the place. I came across a corridor with doors lined on either side of the wall. I tried to make out what was written on the doors, later coming to the conclusion that each door had a phantom troupe member's name on it. When I reached the end of the hall, I read the name on the last door: Chrollo Lucilfer.
I knocked gently as the door opened a crack and I saw his pale face and masculine features. Swinging the door open, he motioned for me to come inside, which I could barely notice in the dead of night.
He turned on a dim lamp, engulfing the room in a faint light. I sat on the edge of his windowsill, fairly close to where he was seated on his bed. I opened the curtains a crack and watched the rain pour from the sky, the grey colours fading into each other in the bustling city landscape. Monochrome: a word originating from photography, black and white photos. Meaning solely of black, white and grey shades. This word - it described the view quite well.
It was beautiful, it really was. But there was something else; a melancholy feeling from the dark atmosphere.
Chrollo came over to me and put a hand on my shoulder, "Something on your mind?"
I shook my head slowly. Maybe I was just tired, but as of right now I had many mixed feelings and opinions.
However, two words stuck out from the rest; Life and love. What do they mean?
A/n: I hope you enjoyed this trashy chapter :3 Honestly though, I've lost inspiration for this book. Even as I was writing this, I began thinking of new story ideas. My Kurapika pt.2 might be my last chapter... But who knows? I might put this story on hold for a while and continue it when I find more inspiration as to where the story may lead. :)
