Fawn: What about your mom?
Jacob: I never saw her again.
Fawn: Do you know if she's even alive?
Jacob: No.
Fawn: Oh.
Kimmi: So why did you go to the Capital?
Jacob: Because Ace is trying to take over Lake City.
Kimmi: How do you know?
Fawn: Because we saw him with a woman and she took him to the city. A week later when we were on our way home someone came out of the water and chased us they said that Ace has taken over. He's going to use their army to kill us.
Kimmi leaned back. Caleb walked over and sat down.
Calebs: What's up?
The three looked at him.
Kimmi: It's a long story.
Caleb: Oh. I put the girls to sleep.
Kimmi: Thanks.
Fawn: Jacob I have a question.
Jacob: Yeah?
Fawn: Where did you live when you were with your mom?
Jacob: Close to the Capital. The outskirts of town.
Kimmi: Did the teranidon's go that far?
Fawn: No. It's weird.
Kimmi: What?
Fawn: They haven't left and they haven't touched Rosemarie's house.
Jacob: I think they're scared.
Caleb: Why?
Jacob: Because Rosemarie is from another demention.
