The three walked back into the house.
Fawn: Hey you guys look like Ace just took over the world.
They didn't reply.
Cody: Honey is there something wrong?
Adaline: I I I.......
Cody: You what?
Kimmi: She was here a second and somewhere else in another second.
Caleb: Like Mark.
Fawn: I know why.
Everyone looked at Fawn.
Fawn: I know why she has this power.
Adaline: I how?
Fawn: Sit down.
Everyone went to the living room and sat down.
Fawn: Ok. So I didn't get my powers from my parents I got them through experiments but Adaline didn't. Mark died. After a human with powers dies their powers go to one of their offspring.
Adaline: So it came to me when he died?
Fawn: Yes.
Adaline: But he's been dead for awhile. Why has it just come to me now?
Fawn: Something had to of triggered it.
Adaline: Now? Why didn't it happen when we were fighting Ace?
Fawn: I don't know.
