Janto

The adventure ends and the doctor is left with Jack in the TARDIS.

"Doctor?" jack asks in a thick American accent.

"Yes" he replies senses Jack is serous. 

"Can I ask a favour?" Jack asks sombre.

It seems to be Cardiff a few years in the past the doctor and Jack are stood there just watching people walk past outside the mirror memorial. Jack is looking for some one in the crowd desperately searching, he finds them. Ianto jones, Jack almost cries. 

"Thank you" he whispers. 

"Go to him" the doctor replies.

"I can't it'll mess up the time lines" A single tear rolling down his face.

"oh forget the time lines go to him" the doctor urges pushing him forward with his gaze.

Jack runs up to Ianto and they kiss and the doctor can tell it was jack's true love. The doctor understands that jack can never love forever they are stuck in forever alone.

They are in the TARDIS again leaning against the side.

"who was he?" the doctor asks

"Ianto Jones... The only one I will love for... ever" Jack replays in tears.

"The time agent & the tea boy..."

"We were the perfect match" 

"I am so sorry"

"You don't have to be"

"I did this. I made you immortal. It's my fault"

"Can...Can you do the same to him?"

"I'm sorry"

Jack continues to cry each tear one of the many he sheds each night when ever he is left alone with his thoughts.

"Doctor, it was different" Jack stares at the doctor "with Ianto I was really in love."

"I know" the doctor hugs jack as he is hysterical.

"Why is it like this?" jack asks sobbing.

"I wish I knew"
