You
You are as smart as what you look at.
You
CANNOT
Know Heaven, contemplating Hell
Be wise, attending foolishness
Find love, seeking hate.
You
CANNOT
Know peace, attending warfare
Be loyal, witnessing lies
Find happiness, scrutinizing gloom.
You
CANNOT
Fly with birds, crawling with snakes
Conquer with lions, scampering with rodents
Be led with sheep, dressing like wolves.
You
CANNOT
Live in a mansion, keeping squatter habits
Walk in grace, tripping on your own feet
Be royal, neglecting nobility.
You
CANNOT
Love family, without loving thyself
Make friends, disregarding neighbours
Become a leader, battling followers.
You
CANNOT
Move, without motivating
Act, without thinking
Stop, without going
You
CANNOT
See, with unseeing eyes
Hear, with unhearing ears
Speak, with a non-rolling tongue.
You
Yes, You
CANNOT
Be yourself, without knowing yourself
Be yourself, without finding yourself
Be yourself, without loving-Thy own self.
