Today was the first day of exams. I had language arts, math, and having science. I head off to my ninth period class. I sat next to another good friend of mine, Haley. There are two Haley's too. Haley H, the art one... and Haley M. Haley M, or, Lizzy as she likes, is really sweet, and if it haven't been for Mrs. Jaster, my science teacher who I have now, we would never have become friends.
I thought about my language arts essay. It was about New Year's resolutions. I didn't like it... but anyways, one of my resolutions was to talk more... because my friend isn't spending time with me because of it. It was going to be a difficult task, though. I'm really shy. I twisted the combination and opened up the locker, but, there was nothing in it... Oh, right... I left my backpack in Mommy's car. I stood up and slammed my locker shut. I stepped out into the cold air of winter. I love winter so much. It's beautiful and I love the cold. I walked to the gymnasium and into my mom's classroom. I sat, looking through my phone. I went back and read me and Caroline's conversations. I felt tears, but little ones. I wiped them away as my mom walked into the room. She grabbed her stuff and we head home. Ahh, home... I thought. I lay down on the couch and sat there a while...
