(All stage lights brighten up the stage. ALEX knocks on Wendy's door. She answers.)
Alex: Hey Wend. I missed you.
Wendy: Ale, you made it! I missed you so much!
(ALEX and WENDY hug. WENDY's DAD walks up to the door and clears his throat. ALEX breaks the hug with WENDY)
Alex: Yes sir?
Wendy's Dad: It's good to see you Alex. I missed seeing you around.
Alex: Thank you. It's good to see you to sir. I'm here to pick up Wendy for prom in two days.
Wendy's Dad: I know, she wouldn't stop talking about it. I assume she'll be staying with you when you get back to Baltimore.
Alex: Yes. I will be sleeping on the couch and she can have my room.
Wendy's Dad: Now that's the gentleman thing to do. Nice job Wendy, you picked a good one.
Wendy: I know dad. Well we have to leave now. We have prom to get to
Wendy's Dad: You kids have fun.
(ALEX and WENDY walk to the taxi and drive away. WENDY'S DAD waves to them as they leave. All stage lights black out. All walk off stage.)
