You walked down the streets of your hometown.

It was around ten o' clock at night on a Halloween evening.

The streets were dark, with the occasional street lamp lighting up little of the darkness. Everyone seemed to have headed home for the night, so you decided to go home, too.

You were dressed in a black cloak; a black masquerade mask; and a white scarf that covered the lower half of your face. Everything under the cloak was also black.

Your eyes scanned the road, making sure to stay out of the way of the crazy people on the road.

You heard a small giggle come from in front of you. You looked up.

In front of you was a small child. She looked about eight. She had dark brown eyes, her hair was the same color. She was dressed in a straight jacket. She had huge bags under her eyes. She acted like she was insane. Quietly whispering to, what seemed like, herself. Her hands fidgeted wildly. Moving in weird motions and symbols. Probably sign language.

'It's just for the holiday.' You thought to yourself.

But by the way her eyes moved, the way she looked, the way she acted.

You could tell that she wasn't all there.

Along with that, You wondered why she was out here alone. Especially, at this time of night.

What will you do?

1) Ask the child why she's out so late.

2) Ignore her and keep walking.
