(a/n) this one is kinda short too but that's because this chapter and the previous were split

Dan was pulled from his thoughts when Louise tapped his shoulder lightly letting him know they had got to hers. he quietly got out of the car and closed the door behind him. Louise opened the door and went to the kitchen. Dan had been at hers enough to be comfortable as he shuffled into the kitchen. he hopped up on the counter and she held up two mugs.

"which one?" one of them was a plain black mug that said "but first, coffee" in a thin white font. the other was a white mug that said "oh for {insert picture of a fox here} sake"

Dan gestured to the black mug not saying a word. Louise knew better than to bug Dan about what happened. after knowing him for so long, she knew it would just make him upset. he just needed some time.

Dan looked down at his feet as Louise made him peppermint tea. his eyes were still dry from crying but his face wasn't as flushed as that morning. he managed out a thank you as Louise gave him the tea, giving him a sad smile. he was left alone in the kitchen with his thoughts. he tried to focus on his tea, the warmth that it gave off, the way the letters were lightly engraved into the mug. anything to take his mind off Phil.

when he finally finished his tea, he shuffled his way over to the couch and laid down. his eyes became heavy and soon he was asleep, passed out on the couch.

(a/n) i literally spent over 10 minutes trying to find good mugs and just went with those sorry. also this is a double update so sorry it's so short. i only split up 4 and 5 because i felt so bad for not updating and wanted to give you guys an update as soon as possible. i'm honestly surprised anyone reads this but it means a lot that you do <3 ttfn friends!!
