A month later, Saturday. Around 4PM.

She stood in front of the huge canvas, her hands stained with paints, various shades of blue. She stared at her undone painting then she sat down, bent her legs and buried her face on her knees.

"Gah. I don't know why I do this."

She's born to be an artist. Painter or pianist, even a ballerina or musical actress. She could choose one of them. Little Yisoo believed that humans can be anything and anything could be learned. That's why, she tried to learn everything in art. She excelled in her studies too. Still, her social nature was bigger than her passion as an artist. Indeed, she won some piano competitions, got chosen as the best young painter several years ago, and although she learned ballet just in her free time, she performed as a ballerina at a talent show on her high school. For musical actress, she was once a lead for a school musical, titled Rapunzel.

She was all-around artist. But, she chose to be a teacher in an art school.

The blue-stained canvas was beautiful. Sky that she painted looked dark, but calming and beautiful at the same time.

"Meow~"
"Oh, Lucy."

She stroked Lucy's fur gently as the feline jumped to her lap.

"Shall we take a break and go somewhere?"
"Meow!"

Yisoo just took it as Lucy's approval. Yeah, a break would be needed.

She knows that cat isn't fond of water. But, vitamin sea was the one that she needed now. She was being selfish? Probably.

"As long as you don't go near the sea and stay with me here, you will be okay, Lucy-ya."

A low and long meow was the only respon. She guessed, Lucy didn't have any options left. After all, she just a pet.

Yisoo set a mat and a parasol before she laid down, reading a book while enjoying the cool breeze of the sea.

"Meow~ Meow!"
"Be quiet, Lucy." She petted Lucy who rested on her hips.
"Meow!"

Lucy jumped off her, earned a gasp from Yisoo.

"Lucy, where do you want to..." Her voice trailed off when she discovered another person stood right next to the end of her mat.
"I was right."

That flat tone, that heavy voice. Ah, she heard it somewhere.

"Hello, Lucy." He took Lucy in his arms.

Yisoo sat and diverted her gaze to the face of...

"Han Jumin-ssi."
"Hello, Seo Yisoo-ssi."
"Yes, hello to you too." She stood and greeted him in a polite way.
"What are you doing here?"

Wow. She really didn't expect that question coming from Han Jumin, the stoic, emotionless man.

Ah, it's probably just a courtesy.

"Enjoying my free time? Or just want to take a break from busy day." She said, "How about you?"

Let's reply with a courtesy too.

"I had an interview with a magazine."
"As I thought." She mumbled.
"Hm?"
"In my opinion, you're a kind of person who would never go here if you don't have anything related with your work. Am I right?" Yisoo asked, "Ah. I'm sorry if I'm being rude."
"Quite right and it's okay."

She smiled brightly when her guess was proven to be true. Yeah, although she's in her middle 20s, she still has that child-like personality on her.

"Aren't you suppose to offer me a seat in a time like this?"

Ah.

"W-well, I thought you're in a hurry and want to go back to work as soon as possible?"
"If I want to go back to my office as soon as possible, I won't be here, talking with you."
"I thought you just want to exchange some courtesies." She rubbed the back of her neck awkwardly, "Please take a seat. I don't know if it suit your liking and preference, but I only have mat."
"It's enough, thank you." He said as he sat down. Yisoo blinked then followed what he did.

"Lucy is very fond of you. I wonder why." She tried to open a new conversation.
"Maybe because I love cats, so they feel at ease when they're with me?"
"Hm, maybe. Or you have a kind of aura that cats like."
"Aura?"
"Don't think about it too much. I'm just talking nonsense," she chuckled lightly, "You don't bring Elizabeth here?"
"As you can see, no."

Of course, you dummy girl.

"I left her at my penthouse. I don't think that she will like the beach."
"You never know if you don't try, right?"
"You're so positive."
"I am! Being positive is great. Your burdens and problems seem will fly away if you keep your positive attitude." She smiled widely.
"Still, it's not that simple. You just brainwashed yourself if you think like that." Jumin replied it rationally. Yisoo's smile's gone.
"I am." She muttered under her breath.
"What is it?"
"N-no! Nothing."
"Why did you stutter?" He lifted an eyebrow.
"Nothing, really. You might just hearing things," She assured him with a smile that grew wider by seconds.

The sun went down as the pair watched it in silence.

"Ah. I got an idea, now." She snapped her fingers then she got up.
"What are you talking about?" Jumin asked before he followed her.
"Can I ask you for a favor?"

( Jumin's POV )

That's more like it. I know that until now, every woman who came into my life was chasing my wealth, of course this woman is no exception. We just met for two times, but she bravely asked me for a favor, probably ―ah, no, must be related with money. I won't deny if I feel quite comfortable with this woman because we share a same liking towards cat. But, if she also chase my--

"I want to draw your back."

Huh?

"Draw my back?"

She nodded at my question. Now that's weird. But, I kept telling myself that the possibility that she would trick me like other women still didn't fall to zero.

"I'm an artist. Nice to meet you, Mr. Han."

Oh.

"Miss... Seo?"
"What's with that name?" She laughed.
"Back then... it's you, right?"
Yisoo giggled, "You do remember me, oppa. I'm glad."

Yes. I finally remember her.
