Their meeting became frequent. It's almost became their routine every weekend to spend their spare time together, talking about cats, their works, their likings, and other pointless things. He never complained when she scolded him for being too insensitive and workaholic. He thought it was a cute side of her to care about him that much.
"Don't work until midnight again, Han Jumin-ssi."
"You stopped calling me oppa?"
"That's because you never obey my words when I call you that!"
"Then, you think I'll obey you if you call me like that?"She fell silent.
"Nope..." She said, more like whispered.
"So, why?" He replied it with a whisper too, a husky one as he leaned closer to her ear.A faint blush appeared on both of her cheeks.
"N-no reason!"
"You stuttered." He pointed it out.
"You're too close, oppa!" She pushed him lightly.
"You never afraid or embarrassed with this kind of thing before."
"It's because we've grown up, stupid Jumin."
"What did you call me just now?"Yisoo shut her mouth immediately and tried to get up from her position ―she laid on her stomach at a picnic mat― but failed since Jumin was faster as he pinned her down by pushing down her back.
"Answer me, Yisoo-ya."
"I called you stupid. Now could you please let me go?"
"Where's the magic word?" He teased her as he tickled her side. As a result, she laughed and tried to move but failed again due to Jumin's hand on her back.
"Ahahahaha o-okay, okay! Stop it, I'm sorryyyyy! Hahahaha!"There's a sincere broad grin, almost hinted with glee and amusement, on his handsome face. He moved his hand, finally set her free. The younger girl then changed her position from laying to sitting position.
"Oppa, you must hear my advice. Your body needs a rest."
"I'm still okay without it."
"Seriously Han Jumin! Just quickly find someone who will take care of you willingly."
"I don't need to do that. You're here, right?"Almost immediately, her cheeks turned pink. She averted her gaze to anywhere except him.
"I-I'm not your babysitter," she uttered quietly.
"Who said that you're my babysitter?"
"Then? What am I to you?"
"Younger sister, of course."Ah. Yeah. I'm not more than a younger sister to him.
"I have my own life, Oppa. I can't take care of you all the time," Yisoo tried to hide her disappoinment with sticking out her tongue in a playful manner.
"A teacher should have a soft spot towards people, no?"
"Towards MY students, not all people because it's not my responsibility and not all of them are nice either," she stated clearly.
"Did something happen?"His question surprised her completely. Was her expression that easy to read?
"No, everything's fine," she said as she gave him a reassuring grin. With that, Jumin sighed.
"You know, if anything troubled you, you can tell me. I'm your big brother, right? That's why it's okay to tell me."He placed his palm on top of her head, raking her hair gently with his fingers.
"Okay. Thank you, oppa."
Even though I won't tell you what happened back then.
