FIRE

FIRE
The flames around you roared, eating at your clothes. "Make it stop! Please make it stop!" You sob. "Witch! She's not burning!" People scream.

"Mommy! Daddy!" You scream. Your mother lets out a hoarse scream. "Let my baby go! She's not a witch! I swear it!" She struggled against the man holding her.

Then the man slit her Mommy's throat. You stare in shock, then you loose control. The fire burns brighter, higher, hotter.

"Papa how could you?" You whisper. Then the flames burn to the brightest that they can and everything around you turns to ash.

You awake screaming.

"Hey hey it's okay!" Enoch exclaims. You sob, remembering that horrible day. You killed everyone, but somehow, your mother's body don't burn, neither did the animals or your house.

You later cremated your mother and threw her ashes into the wind. Then you took the animals in the village and left. It was a small village, so there were limited animals.

Two horses, one male, one female, three donkeys, couple of chickens, a dog, a cat, and some pigs. You bundled provisions onto the donkeys and rode off with the horses.

A month later, Miss Peregrine took you in and you started this thing with Enoch.

"Hey hey, it's okay. There's a little destructive FIRE in all of us."

"You suck at comforting people."
