"Enoch stop!" You giggle, his arms around your waist. "Miss Owl might hear." You hiss.

"Just shush. Let me enjoy this moment."

You snuggle into him, enjoying his embrace. It is forbidden for Ymbrynes -or in this case Ymbryne in training- and their wards to hold romantic relationships.

He was sent away to a loop unknown to you a month later.

You fly, knowing that if you don't, death will seize you. The prospect of dying seems so unfamiliar it scares you. You see the tree too late.

You smash into it, crumpling to the floor. Morgan jumps out of your talons, enlarging to full size. He takes off his long coat, draping it on you.

You turn back into human form, wrapping the coat around you. Your right wing was broken, resulting in your right arm being broken.

"Go Morgan!" You shout, "Miss Peregrine's loop is up ahead! Elongate your legs!" Morgan had the peculiarity of stretching and shrinking his body.

He ran, trusting you fully. You grab a branch, holding it out, when the trees part, you throw it, flung the branch at the hollow. The branch splinters upon contact, sticking to the hollow.

You run.

"There Miss Peregrine! It's there!" A boy yells. Alma shoots the area where the boy is pointing.

"Y/N." Alma whispers, hugging you in relief. "Alma," You sob, hugging her back with your good arm "My wards. All dead except Morgan." You wail again.

"Shhhh. Shhhh. Everyone, this is Miss-"

"Kingfisher."

You stiffen, no, not possible. No way, no way- "Y/N." Enoch whispers, hugging you, careful not to jostle your right arm.

You lean up, touching his face, making sure he's really there and not a figment of your imagination. Morgan stands to the side, a little confused.

"Urr Miss Kingfisher? What are you doi- OH HOLY SHIT MY EYES!" He wails as Enoch leans down and plants rough KISSES on you. They're desperate hungry one, but delightful ones all the same.

As you break off the kiss, you turn to Morgan. "Watch your language. Polite persons do not yell out such vulgar words."
