Saturday 31st October; Halloween. I was sat on the sofa, home alone. My parents had gone to one of there friends and my brother had gone with them, but they could think again if they expected me to go. Turning the TV on, I sat down and placed my bowl of popcorn on the table. I'd been watching tv for about 10 minutes when I heard a faint knock at the door. A deep voice saying "you're gonna have to knock louder than that mister" sounded shortly after the knock. As I stood up I saw the figure of a boy and a toddler stood at the door so I went to grab the sweet tub and went towards the door. I opened the door and a small voice said "trick or treat!", it was Daniel from my school and his little brother. "Awh here you go" I said as motioned the tub towards the little boy. "Dani I need the toilet" he said to his older brother. "Typical..." Daniel replied. I stood awkwardly for a second before I asked Daniel if he wanted to use our toilet. Rejecting at first Daniel went to leave but with his little brothers complains becoming more frequent as they made there way down my front lawn, he turned back and said "you don't mind if we use the washroom do you?". Inviting them in, I showed them to the toilet and Daniel stood in my kitchen (They used the downstairs toilet). " I like your house" Daniel complemented and his waited for his brother. "Thanks I guess" I giggled.
He brother cam out of the toilet and Dan told him to say thank you for letting him using the loo. "Thank juuu" he said quietly. I was about to show them out when Daniel turned around to me. "Your gorgeous, you know that?"
"Wait what?" I questioned.
"I never realised it before, but your really beautiful!" He said as he put his head down slightly. I thanked him awkwardly, as he didn't know I thought he was cute too. We had a small conversation before Daniel was at the door ready to go when he said "Are you by yourself?" I told him yes and where my family were, when he offered to keep me company. "I can take this one home and I can come back and keep your company, because you do get some strange people around on halloween." He said. I told him he didn't have to, but he insisted.
About 30 minutes later a knock came to my door. I opened it to see Daniel stood there with a bunch of sweets. "Trick or treat!" He joked. I let him in and made us a hot chocolate each. I put the film 'Casper' as we chatted about school. We both sat on the sofa when I asked him "Are you cold?" I shivered. He said he was okay and offered to warm me up. I grabbed a blanket as he placed his arm around me and pulled me closer to his side. We sat cuddling for a while when he said he'd gone hot so he took off his shirt. I sat in amazement at his well defined 6 pack on his stomach. "Y/N.... Hello Y/N" I snapped out of my faze and he laughed. "Too much to take in eh?"
"Aye you got me" I winked. He sat down again and told me about how although we spoke at school a few times, he wanted to get to know me better.
We sat playing little games like "never have I ever" and got to see each other's small secrets. His final "never have I ever" was if we'd ever kissed someone. Knowing I hadn't a put my head down slightly. A warm hand lifted up my chin and felt a warm pair of lips touch my mouth. I kissed back as Daniel's hands ventured to my waist. He broke the kiss and said "well now you have". I giggled and went back for more. We kissed again as we fell off the sofa onto the floor with a bang. We both fell off each other and laughed. For the rest of the evening we sat watching films and eating snacks.
-Morning-
I woke up in Daniel's tight grip. Knowing my parents and my brother were going to be back at 11 am and it was 10:30, I shook daniel to wake him up. His eyes slowly opened as I told him the news that he needed to go. He stood up and put his shirt that he took off last night back on. He got ready and it was 10:45. "I guess I'll see you at school then" he said as he made his way to the door. "Yeah, probably" I replied. He pulled out his phone and handed it to me with the contact list open. I typed in my name and number and handed him his phone back. He smiled and hugged me. I ruffled his hair as he stood on the step below me outside my house. He pulled me quickly to his chest and pecked my forehead beige turning around and walking towards the end of my lawn. "Bye Y/N"
"Bye Dani" I replied as he walked off down the road.
