Grayson's POV.

I wake sometime in the middle of the night, shivering. I open my eyes and gasp. I'm in the bathroom at Disney.

"No, no, no," I say, standing up, letting my eyes adjust to the darkness.

"Believe us now?" I hear a voice say in the darkness.

My eyes finally adjust and I turn around. Eva, Vanessa, Devan, Cameron, and Ember are sitting on the floor, looking up at me. I shake my head and sink down against the wall in front of them.

"You have got to be kidding me," I say, running a hand through my hand.

"We're not," Eva says. "Why can't you be like Ember? She actually believed us."

"Cause it's not possible!" I say.

"Oh my gosh," Vanessa says, and stands up. She walks over to me and slaps me across the cheek, twice. "Snap out of it, Grayson! This isn't fake! If you don't believe us, I'm going to throw you out to Them."

I nod and put a hand to my stinging cheek. Ember looks at me, her face emotionless and pale. We all sit in silence for a few moments before Devan speaks up.

"We got two minutes until They come out," Devan says.

"Why haven't they found us yet?" I ask.

"They haven't found out that this is where we hideout. But They will start smelling us eventually," Cameron says, wincing as if the thought of Them finding us hurts him.

Vanessa pulls her hair in a ponytail and tosses me a gun. She also gives one to Ember. I twirl the gun around my finger and look to Vanessa.

"Why on earth do we have guns?" I ask.

"To protect us so we don't get ripped limb from limb. I'll take it back if you want to die. It would be a lot quieter without you," Eva says.

I glare at her and she smirks back.

"They are out," Devan says, looking at his tracker watch.

Vanessa and Eva stand up and go towards the sink. Devan and Cameron go on each side of the doors, holding their guns by their necks. Vanessa orders me and Ember to go in the biggest stall and wait.

"I want to see them!" I say.

"You're an newbie. You go in there for now," Eva orders.

I sigh and join Ember in the largest stall. She sits against the wall and smiles at me.

"First time in a girls' bathroom?" she asks.

"If I said yes I'd be lying," I say.

She laughs. "You went in one when you were little, by accident," she guesses.

I laugh and shake my head. "Stupid dare some of my friends made me do back in 3rd grade," I say.

She raises her eyebrows and smiles. "Savage, were you?"

"I thought so back then," I say.

"Hey, less chitchat in there, love birds," Vanessa whispers. "Do you want Them to hear us?"

Love birds? Barely. At least for Ember. She would never like me. Ember looks at the floor, and I notice her hands are shaking.

  "You ok?" I whisper.

"I'm just nervous I'll never get back home. I don't want to be stuck here forever," she says.

I kneel down beside her and take her hand. "Hey, don't think like that. We're gonna get out. We have at least 3 weeks to get out and we will find a way out by then. We're gonna be fine," I say.

She looks at me and I see tears brimming in her green eyes. "I wish you were right. It's just-"

She gets cut off my a loud bang. I go outside the stall and see...Cinderella? But not normal Cinderella. Her blue dress has rips and blood stains on it. She only has one shoe on and the other is sticking out of the top of her head, blood pouring from the wound into her eye. She bares her teeth. Well, the teeth she has left anyway.

"Get out of there!" I see Vanessa calling from behind Cinderella.

I pull out my gun and shoot her in the head. She falls to the ground, but doesn't die. Vanessa screams for us to hurry. I take Ember's hand and we walk around the twitching princess. We make it outside the bathroom and a thick blanket of fog coats the park. I put my hands on my knees and breath hard.

"What the heck was that?" I ask.

"One of Them," Vanessa says, wiping blood of her dagger.

"Well, not anymore," Ember says. "Grayson shot her in the head."

Eva shakes her head sadly. "They don't die. None of Them do. It just fazes them for a few minutes. But They come back, trust me."

  "Great," I say.

"Ok, so according to my tracker, no one is around is right now. Wait, I'm-"

"NO!" Eva screams, and I look towards Devan.

He has a knife in his back, through his chest. I put a hand to my mouth. Cinderella is back and she stabbed him. I shoot her again and again in the head and Eva runs to Devan. She takes his head in her lap and tears pour down her cheek.

"Devan, you're fine. You're ok, you're gonna be ok," she says, holding his shaking hand.

Devan's blue eyes fill up with tears and he shakily takes off his tracker. He hands it to Eva and she straps it on her wrist. Devan puts a hand to her cheek and smiles.

"Get home safe for me, ok?" Devan says.

"You're coming home with me, Devan. Don't go, please," Eva says, tears soaking face.

Devan puts a hand to his chest and his fingers are coated in blood. Eva takes his hand and leans down to kiss his cheek. She closes Devan's eyes and he breathes his last. Eva starts crying loudly and Vanessa has to pry her hand from Devan's.

Ember takes my hand and I look at her. She's crying along with Vanessa and Cameron has tears in his eyes. Vanessa takes Eva's hand and pulls her along, Eva fighting and screaming for Devan. We walk to one of the food stands and go inside. We block the windows with pieces of wood. Eva sits down on the floor and puts her face in her hands. Vanessa sinks down next to her and holds her tightly.

I can't help thinking in my mind this isn't the last kill.

   1 down, 5 to go.
