Nico:

"No... That didn't happen... Not me... No way..." I thought, as I shoved a chicken nugget down my throat. After shadow traveling to a NYC McDonald's, wasting all my money on food, and listening to Sleeping with Sirens... I wasn't in the mood for any more... ANYTHING...

Then my phone lit up and buzzed on the table, showing that I had gotten a text from Jason. The conversation went like this.

Jason: Hey Neeks!

Nico: DON'T...CALL...ME...THAT...

Jason: Sorry... You OK?

Nico: Peachy... Why?

Jason: Oh... well... there's a rumor...

Nico: About...?

Jason: You and....

Nico: ME and WHAT?!?

Jason: Not a what...

Nico: Then WHO?

Jason: Percy...

Nico: ....

Jason: Yeah... the whole camp is talking about it...

Nico: I gtg... bye

Jason: bye

"Great..." I muttered to myself as i threw away my trash and rushed out the doors. I ran under the nearest shadow and shadow-traveled to CHB, which was hard to do since it was 7:00 in the morning.

Once I stepped out into my cabin, I instantly feel my face flush with red. I looked around the room and it was a disaster. Maps everywhere. Clothes (Nico's) littered the floor. Bedsheets halfway ripped off the bed.

I suddenly had a queasy feeling and ran to the bathroom and threw up. I figured it was because of all the fast food I had eaten. But deep down I knew it was the memories of the night before.

Then I rememered what Jason had said earlier. So I peeked out the curtains and saw demigods everywhere.

"I thought it was the middle of summer?" I mumbled.

Then I turned around and looked at the hurricane remains of a room. I scowled. I didn't want anyone else walking in and seeing this, so I started cleaning it up.

As I was cleaning, I found Percy's wallet. My face turned red, I could feel it. I set it aside and imagined how it fell out as his jeans hit the floor.

When I was finally done, I put on my jacket and opened the door. Right before I walked out, I thought about how the other campers would laugh at me or talk behind my back as I walked to Percy's cabin. I was so tempted, I was about to shadow-travel again, but I didn't have the energy to. So I stepped out and started towards his cabin.

As I got close, I could feel in my bones something was about to happen. On the good note, I knew SOMETHING was going to. The down side was that I didn't know WHAT. But I soon found out.

I was then pulled into the darkness and slammed against a wall. All I knew was when I opened my eyes, isaw just enough to know I was in an alleyway. Between Zeus's cabin and the Posiedon cabin.

My eyes adjusted quickly. The figure in front of me was really close. Their hands were on both sides of me, on the wall, preventing me from escaping. The details of their face started coming in, piece by piece.

Their jawline. Scruffy, dark hair. Sea green eyes. When I found out who it was, I stopped breathing.

It was Percy Jackson.
