Chapter 8: First Day, First Night

First thing that Leon realized is that Zyglavis Siostu was a more major prankster than Ichthys. But what surprised Leon more was that Lillia wasn't bothered by this considering she has her own Zyglavis-like girl in her department. Or at least he think she is, besides her appearance.

Zyglavis Siostu: "Ah, hahahahaha!!! Man, you should've seen your FACE, Regulus!!!"

Leon also was surprised on how calmly Leon Regulus accepted the pranks. Leon Regulus was starting to remind Leon of Karno.

Leon Regulus: "Ah, ha, ha...yes, that was really funny, Siostu. Leon, Lillia should be coming out now...ah, here she is."

Lillia came out of the dressing room, wearing a red and gold, plaid, school uniform. Leon was already dressed in a similar uniform, just a male version with no skirt or flats. Leon was to stand next to Lillia, holding a book, pushing up his glasses. Lillia was to stand next to Leon clutching a book near her chest. Leon wondered why he even accepted wearing the glasses, let alone doing this modeling business.

Leon Regulus: "Hey, looking good...okay, smile, look at...me..."

*click, flash, flash, flash*

Lillia stared at only Leon Regulus, not bothered at all by the flashing lights. She is a light Celestial, after all, Hades, she's the general of one (namely Leon-in-the-future-not-to-mention-the-also-present), not to mention some other elements and power she's capable of. Leon, on the other hand, was slightly glaring at the flashes. Once the shots where over, Leon heaved a big sigh, while Lillia didn't look fazed at all.

Zyglavis Siostu: "You guys were GREAT! Really love how that lighting worked on the colors. Who did the lighting?"

Staff Girl: "I-I did."

Zyglavis Siostu: "That was perfect. Perfect! Keep up the good work!"

The girl who did the lighting blushed and retreated to a ring of other female staff workers and started chatting excitedly. Leon still could not believe that this short-haired, smiley, happy-go-lucky, version of Zyglavis even existed. Zyglavis reminded him of Teorus...that now creeped him out.

Zyglavis: "Leon! Lillia! Ha, you guys have a last name we can go by? It would be pretty awkward to call you..."

He points at Leon.

Zyglavis Siostu: "...Leon around here. You see...Regulus, here, already has plenty of fan girls that call him 'Leon'."

Leon Regulus: "Quit it, Zyglavis, you're embarrassing me..."

Zyglavis Siostu: "Ah, Regulus is blushing! Look at him!"

Leon stared at this scene not knowing what to think anymore. Oh, wait until Leon saw Zyglavis again. He'd be the laughingstock of the year. Leon stopped thinking...then his mind raced elsewhere. What if he never got to see the normal Zyglavis again? Leon surprisingly was starting to wish to see the normal Zyglavis, scowling and nagging at every little thing he did. At least that was normal to him.

Leon Regulus: "A-anyway...do you...I mean, what's your guys' last name?"

Leon: "Uh..."

Lillia: "Colette. Leon Colette, Lillia Colette."

For some reason, Leon didn't think the last name 'Colette' suit him. He liked the 'Regulus' last name that the other Leon had. He remembered that Lillia still held the Colette name, even now. So, Colette wasn't something she had gotten from being human, but all her life...

Leon Regulus: "Colette...huh, not a bad name...Leon Colette, Lillia Colette. Well...okay."

Zyglavis Siostu: "Yeah...not a bad name at all."

Leon didn't like the way Zyglavis Siostu was smirking. Not that it looked so unnatural on his face, though. But more like, he thought that this felt almost similar when Ichthys is about to pull a prank...Leon silently hoped that Zyglavis wasn't planning on pranking him. He wouldn't be able to take it, and officially thought that he had gone crazy.

Lillia: "Is that all for today?"

Zyglavis Siostu: "Oh, no, we aren't letting you guys go just yet...here's what models call flash horror..."

By flash horror, Zyglavis Siostu meant tons and tons and TONS of flashing lights, camera clicks, rushing on clothes, millions of makeovers, going through many hairdos, and standing stiff in a position take after take. Leon didn't want to go through that again. Lillia, on the other hand, was totally calm through the entire thing. She acted without complaint and had an unlimited amount of energy that Leon had finally remembered.

Lillia: "Is Leon Regulus asleep?"

Leon: "Yes...say, why not speak normal? For Regulus' sake."

Lillia: "Perhaps I shall learn. Are not you a human, Leon?"

Leon: "I am now...Lillia, there's something that you need to understand."

Lillia: "Is it your claim to have been from the future?"

Leon: "It's true! I mean, you were a human, and I was a...Celestial. There's this strict ponytail minister of the Department of Punishments, which is what you guys call the Lunar Division, named Zyglavis, ruler of Libra. He doesn't prank, laugh, compliment that much, he's the complete opposite of that other Zyglavis!"

Lillia: "My mind cannot picture a the strict Zyglavis you speak of. You're a human. Humans require 8 hours of sleep, so I have been told."

Leon: "I am not going crazy!"

Leon, for a split second complimented Lillia for her more comprehendible word choice, but his mind led to that he was sounding too much like the other Leon. He still refused to believe that this other Leon was him in the past.

Lillia: "You must not shout...you will disturb Leon Regulus. He had an extremely busy day...you need sleep as well."

Leon: "I'm supposed to say that..."

Lillia: "I beg your pardon?"

Leon: "Lillia...in the future, the King sent me and five others down to Earth for sins we've committed. You worked at a planetarium and fell off the roof. You called my name and I saved you by flying. You erased my mark of sin because you made me realized what real..."

Leon stopped...he couldn't say the rest for some reason...why can't he? His face felt hot, his throat felt like it was clogging up. Tears streaked down Leon's face, and couldn't meet up to Lillia's surprised face. Lillia walked up to him and wiped away his tears. She smiled at Leon...and smile Leon thought he'd never see again.

Lillia: "Never cry alone...always share your tears with someone special to you. So that way they can wipe away your tears, and comfort you."

Leon's mind went straight back to when he first saw Lillia crying. He felt a nostalgia sense of he said something like that before when she was crying. Leon thought it was weird...seeing Lillia like this...even though he's seen Lillia a lot more gentle and expressive. Lillia guided Leon to the couch in Leon Regulus' living room, and Leon immediately fell asleep.

Lillia: "Hmm...I wonder...is it possible...for even I...to fall in love with someone as simple as a human? What will it cause, I wonder..."
