Dear Raven,
My first month in L.A. has been scary at times... but totally worth it.
I found out Anabeth actually DOES know what she is doing? She studied at Otis and has worked with some pretty big names in Hollywood, a few of which I've met in passing!
I started at Chateau Marmont and have already waited on several celebrities, just as Anabeth said I would. I learned the hard way fangirling over Lady Gaga... to her face... is not really what you do in this city if you want to keep even a shred of your dignity.
I've applied to my dream school, but have yet to hear back. I've been working on a few songs and I even got up the nerve to perform one for Anabeth. She's surprisingly great at constructive criticism... and brutally honest. This has become one of my favorite things about her. In a city full of lies, the truth can be quite refreshing.
I miss you. I love you all the time.
