Meeting the Malfoys

Jennipher and Alexander Riddle were visiting the Malfoys because of their father. They had no clue who either of their parents were, so this had come as a great shock. They just turned thirteen in January, and celebrated at their school. They go to Beauxbatons Academy of Magic. They were shocked to hear that a champion had died in the Tri-Wizard Tournament; and he-who-shall-not-be-named returned, although Alexander still refuses to accept it. Shortly after school had ended, Jennipher had seen them receiving a letter from a Mr. Lucius Malfoy and had started packing for the two of them. They had traveled to London and met Mr. Malfoy at the train station. They were now walking into his manor. The Malfoy Manor was huge, but cold. Jennipher looked around. She had dreamed about the place before, so she knew where she was going. She went to the dining room without getting lost, much to Mr. Malfoy's surprise. Alexander follows her because she is never wrong.

Jennipher's POV

In the kitchen are three people. A blonde woman, a blonde boy around our age, and a cloaked person. I guess the woman and boy to be Mrs. Malfoy and her son, but the cloaked figure is different. I can't get a clear read on the person.

"Hello, dears. I am Narcissa Malfoy, Lucius' wife. This is our son Draco." She says putting her hand on the boy's, Draco's, shoulder. "How was your trip getting here. I hope it wasn't too hectic." Mrs. Malfoy said smiling warmly. "Hello. I am Alexander Riddle, this is my sister Jennipher. Our trip was wonderful. Thank you for having us." Alex says politely. I am still trying to get a read on the person. Draco, in acknowledgment to a look his mother gives him, says. "Would you like me to show you to your rooms so you can get settled before-" The last part is cut off by me. "I don't do pink rooms, so the room you have currently decided to give me won't do." I say bluntly. Alex gives me a look, but I don't care. "How do you even know they were going to give you a pink room?" He says scoldingly at me. I ignore him. "I would appreciate it if you could let me stay in a room that isn't pink and frilly." I say, trying to be polite this time. "Of course. Draco, please show them to two of the rooms in your hall." Mrs. Malfoy says, her voice slightly shaky. We follow Draco through the corridors. Well Alex does, I walk along with him. I hear Mr. and Mrs. Malfoy talking about how I knew things I hadn't even seen before. We make it to the rooms. My room is green and silver themed. Good enough. I put my stuff away.

Okay so about me. I am thirteen, and I grew up an orphan. We are wizards, and I have some odd gifts. I am a parseltongue, I can see my current future, I am a metamorphmagus, I can 'read' minds, and I can communicate telepathically with people. My brother can speak parseltongue and communicate telepathically too. He is also a metamorphmagus. I can use my 'reading' minds and seeing the future tricks together to see the future of one person. I can only see a couple weeks in advance though.

When we were babies, Alex and I were left on the doorstep of an orphanage in France tucked into a basket. There was a letter there. It said we were named Alexander Charles Marvolo Riddle and Jennipher Elizabeth Dove Riddle and were were born January first, nineteen eighty-one. They never knew our relatives and guessed they lived far away. We grew up there, until we were nine. Then we started at Beauxbatons Academy of Magic. It was amazing. We learned magic and got our wands.  Mine is a metal is one covered in emeralds with a crystal at the tip. It has a phoenix feather core. Alex's is Metal with green stone mixed in. It had a stone at the tip. His also has a phoenix core. Our wands have twin cores. I stand up, smoothing my emerald shirt and black pleated skirt, and head to dinner because it is done.

When I walk into the dining room everyone turns to look at me. They had just gotten into the room and hadn't told Alex or I it was almost dinner time. Lucius looks scared, while Narcissa looks unsure. Draco looks happy, then smirks at his parents expressions. I telepathically tell Alex it is dinner time and give him instructions on how to get here. He walks in a minute after I do. "Hello. Your home is lovely, Thanks again for having us." He says, obviously trying to make them feel more at peace. "Your father will be joining us." Lucius says in a slightly cold tone.We all sit down, saving a seat at the head of the table. I can tell the rest of them are scared of our father, but I still wish to meet him. Then the same cloaked figure walks in.

"Good evening Lucius. Alexander. Jennipher." He says acknowledging us. His voice is high and cold. I still can't get into his mind, which shocks me. I then see him taking his cloak off in the near future. He is pale and not configured normally. His eyes are red with snake slits. I gasp and stand up looking at him. He is Lord Voldemort, the most feared wizard in the world. I can feel everyone's eyes on me, but I continue to look at his concealed face. "You-You're-How?" I ask confused. Alex makes a noise trying to get my attention, in the hope that I let him know what I'm talking about.

"I'm...What?" He asks, obviously shocked at my outburst. "You are the Dark Lord!?" I practically shout. I don't care how horrible he is as long as he is family. Alex stands up really fast pulling me slightly away from our father. "What are you talking about Jen?" He says in a steely calm voice. I don't respond to him. Why hadn't anyone told us. Is that why we have special and unique gifts? He takes his cloak off and hands it to Lucius, who immediately puts it away himself. "Yes, child. I am the Dark Lord. I prefer to be called Lord Voldemort though." He says watching us. "I don't understand. I thought you were dead." Alex says. I scoff at that remark. "How many times do I have to tell you to stop assuming things?! He was never dead. He can't die, unless... Well let's focus on he can't die." I says to him. He looks ashamed at his assumption, but confused at him not being able to die. "Remarkable. This child is utterly remarkable." My father mutters to himself. "If you wish we can sit and talk about how remarkable we are after dinner." I say politely. Draco really wants to eat and Mrs. Malfoy is scared of upsetting my father. Lucius however is ashamed and scared my father will kill him. Apparently he upset my father by not helping him. "Yes. We will" He says in his cold high voice, while sitting down. We all sit down after him and start loading our plates. I notice that everyone else, even Mrs. Malfoy, get more than me and my father. I eat dainty bites. We all finish and the Malfoys leave us. I walk off to a sitting room that will be more comfortable and private. They follow after, but I can tell my father already knows where I am headed to.
