Meeting Death Eaters

We stayed with the Malfoys for the rest of the summer holiday. It was decided we would be going to Hogwarts during his sixth year, our eighth year at Beauxbaton. I spent the summer reading and learning new things, while Alex and Draco did whatever boys do. We went to school and worked our hardest to learn the magic. We passed as the best in our class. Well I was the best and he was second best, but we were the best. Now we were going to be meeting the other Death Eaters. He had summoned them all to the Malfoy Manor. I hadn't seen Draco since that day, two years ago. I was nervous. Draco was now a Death Eater. He was going to have an important part.

We were waiting outside the Malfoy's drawing room. Our father was speaking about what was to come. "Young Draco Malfoy will be getting Death Eaters in.  He will kill Dumbledore. Because his family has already disappointed me, I will be sending the Riddle twins to watch over him. They will keep an eye on whether or not he is fulfilling his duties. If he does not, they will deal with him." Alex turns and walks in. I shake my head at him because we were supposed to wait for Nagini. "Sup." Alex says when they all turn to him. "I am Alexander Riddle. We will be under the last name Rose though." People snicker at that. I feel angry. I picked  it because it didn't sound threatening. I walk in slamming the door open. "Is there something funny?" I ask them coldly while walking up to my father. 'What do you wish me to do?' I ask telepathically, glaring at Alex. In response to my glare, Alex walks up looking ashamed. 'I want you to see Draco's future. Will he complete the task soon?'

I walk over to Draco. "Give me your Wand." I say forwardly. I don't care about politeness. I want to get my job over with. The sooner it is done, the sooner I can get back to reading. I don't care about all of this stuff. These gatherings are just to show off. He hands me his wand, his hand shaking. I take it and examine it. 10", Hawthorn, unicorn hair. It is not used in it as far as I can see. I throw it back to Alex, who catches it and examines it also.  I grab his arm and place three of my fingers on his new Dark Mark. He flinches, but doesn't pull it away. My eyes turn a silvery white as I look into the future; he will find a way to get them into the school, but not how to make it work. Something will distract him. I release him arm and look at the girl next to him. The pug faced girl is glaring at me. I turn towards her and grab her arm. She rips it away, attempting to hex me. It is an attempt because my father stops it. Everyone goes silent, as if they're too afraid to breath. I smile, then turn back to my father. I nod. 'He will be able to do it, but it will not be as quick as you would like.' I tell him telepathically. I walk towards him, Alex gives Draco his wand back and before walking towards us and looking at me for answers. I whisper to my father. "Draco will complete the first task of finding a way, but he will have trouble making it work. I couldn't see the second task. It is too far into the future." I am ashamed that my limitations cause us to not know things. "He won't tell us how to do it until the middle of the school year." I say, irritably. "But I can't see what it is." I glare at  Draco and Pug-face Parkinson. My father smiles triumphantly.

They all look at us, waiting for me or my father to speak. "We feel success is in our future. The death of Harry Potter is coming. Thank you my most loyal Death Eaters." My father, the Dark Lord, says, placing a hand on Alex and I's shoulders. I give him a bored look, asking if I can go yet. He nods disappointedly, before walking over to Narcissa Malfoy about her husband. Lucius had upset my father years ago. I turn and walk out of the room, everyone stares at me. They wanted to know more about us. They wanted to know who our parents were. Why we were trusted more than themselves or their kids. Alex goes to follow me, but I stop him. He needs to stay here to give us a better clue on their social habits. Draco and his friends need to be careful about how he does things. If he gives us away we are doomed.

I go to my room and start reading again. I am currently reading about Albus Dumbledore. I want to learn as much about him as I can, before I meet him. I read a whole chapter about him, while practicing magic, before a knock on my door disrupts my reading. I get up and open the door.

Standing there is Pug-Face Parkinson. "What do you want?!" I ask coldly. How dare she follow me! How dare she disrupt my research time! "Stay away from Draco. He is my boyfriend and I don't want you messing him up." She says, her voice shaky with fear. "I can't stay away from him. My job is to keep an eye on him. Make sure he doesn't completely destroy the Dark Lord's plan." I say it that way because he didn't explain that we are his children. I don't bother waiting for her response, shutting the door in her face. You know what Pug-Face, it's on.

I go back to practicing magic. I can't get in trouble unless I use a real spell. One that they actually teach for real life use. Little fun trickster spells are okay. The French Ministry of Magic is a lot more lenient. I cover my hand in blue flames, before putting them out. This year's going to be so much fun, I thought angrily. I had known better than to fight with my father about whether or not I am going, but I am still mad about the deal.
