On contrary to Erin's chill personality, her driving is as reckless as could be. It's dangerous, to say the least.

I'm  scared shitless and trying to sink into my seat. I take  precautions and hold  on to the "holy shit" handle bar.

She could see me tensing up. I probably look like a deer in headlights. I turn to her and give  her a nervous smile.

The silence between us grew awkward and I think she senses it, because she turns up the radio full blast. The second the tune starts to play, she sings.

"It's going down. I'm yelling timber. You better move, you better dance let's make a night you won't remember, I'll be the one you won't forget ooohohhh,"she bobbed her head.

She turned and shoulder rolled at me. I chuckled.

"I know you love my singing," she smirked.
"Lighten up," she chuckles taking her eyes off the road and swerving a little, barely dodging another car.

"Ha,oops," she shrugged.

Lighten up? Now?

Finally, we pull into an empty parking lot. I look up and see the towering structure of a Ferris wheel.

An amusement park? Hmm.

"Hey,um, what are we doing here?" I asked.

"You'll see."

Ugh she's being vague. That can't be good. I sigh and follow her out of the car.

She strolls up to the gate ready to walk in but it's locked. I'm about to ask another question when she flings her bag over and starts to climb it.

Erin lands and scoops up her bag," Hurry up dude," she smiles.

All right here goes nothing.

After a few hours of walking around and rummaging through the concession stands to find left over cotton candy, we make our way to the Ferris wheel.

"So how did you know about this place," I ask munching on the pink sugary cloud remembering  this carnival when it was still functioning.

"Well ,when we first moved here during the summer I was having a hard time adjusting and I really just wanted to get away from everything , so I was out cruising one night and got lost and found this place. The whole sort of vacant aura comforted me. It's a good place to clear my mind."

"Oh." I didn't think anyone else found the need to have their own  form of secret garden. Although this place was surely more exciting than my "hide out." My bedroom. Maybe we both will have more things in common.

We approach the Ferris wheel. It's still intact and towering over us. I'm praying to god that Erin just wants to take in its sight, but I know she'll want to do something a little more dramatic. As I'm turning towards her she's already climbing up the ladder to one of the seats. This girl.

I begin to object when she cuts me off,"Come on. Afraid of heights?"

"Among many things," I mutter. Even though I don't particularly want to fall to my death, I suck it up and start climbing.

Erin's already sitting in the gondola when I finally manage to reach it. I slide in beside her and take in the scenery.

"Whoa," I chuckle," nothing has ever looked like this in human history." I feel a little giddy inside. Probably from the adrenaline.

"You're adorable," she teases.

You too, I think to myself.

"So now tell me about the infamous Beckett Green," she shifts her body facing me and I follow suit.

"There's not much other than I'm completely unoriginal; to put it bluntly."

"Well then, what thoughts consume your think tank?"

I simply knock on my head and echo for effect. "Nothing in this attic."

"Pfft. I don't believe that. You have to have some sort of thought process. It's not like your a dumbass," she pokes my forehead lightly.

"Precisely,so. I am in fact the only known of that species," I smirk.  I feel super cool around her. Talking to her has a sort of  playful lightness to it.

"You mean the species that we know as men? They are the epitome of dumbassary."

"Well aren't you stereotypical," I tease.

"A little," she states.

"Okay let's get deep," she says seriously. "Fears?"

"Everything," I admit.

"Really? Everything?"

"Well no, I just like to play it safe."

"Safe is no fun. Don't you every want to be a little crazy. Experiment?"

"I guess, but who knows where to start," I shrug.

"I do," she smiles. "I'll help you. I'll be your partner in crime. It's perfect considering we've already committed a felony together."

I give her a confused look."When?"

"Well we trespassed when I forced you to climb over the gate. I'm an ideal influence. My recklessness is at your disposal," she winks.

"I know your trying to make it seem like you're reassuring me , but I'm a little nervous."

"Don't be. I'll make sure we commit plenty of felonies. It's not illegal unless you get caught ,so lets have fun and break you out of your own personal cell and get you into a real one."

"Let's not and say we did," I suggest uneasily.

"You confident?"

"Confident that you'll succeed in getting me into a state penitentiary? Yup," i say sarcastically.

"Awesomeness!"
