If there is something that never eases to amaze me
It is those green eyes
Fixed on everything and nothing at once
Capable of a look so stern that it makes the bearer appear older
Yet they also posses the ability of displaying such a playful look, unbothered by the world, taking the burden of the years away.
What makes one be able to show this contrast so severely in a matter of seconds?
I also wonder what wrinkles would be the first to appear, those showing happiness or those showing severity?
It still remains a mystery to me, just another observer who stays a little longer than the rest.
The eyes are windows to the soul, but some are more stained than others
Some clean easier and faster than others
Some take longer
Some never get clean.
They all require daily and constant patience
They all have an equal amount of diverse beauty each time they are unveiled anew
To enjoy the pleasure of discovering this, one needs daily loyalty and understanding
If there is one thing that I am sure of is that those emerald eyes are fixed upon one thing
A thing that requires daily trust and faith itself.
But I want to know more about those precious crystals
I want to know where those shared emotions come from
I want to learn how they learned to talk this way
I want to know if those eyes reflect the firmness and capability shown by that body
It all still remains a mystery to me, just another observer who decides to stay a little longer than the rest.
