Ya!? I’m a vampire. I know it might be a bit of a shock. To you I might just sound like a normal sixteen year old girl, who is just trying to find the right guy. Well I am a vampire and so are Storm and Aidan.

It was not my fault that I drunk so much! I was upset and the friendly barman gave me two drinks on the house, overall I was terribly drunk! I waddled out into the moonlight night. I turned back into a bat and started making my way home. I was not even a meter into the sky when what I thought was a big ball of light shot right past me catching my wing. I crashed to the ground clenching my arm felling like if I let go I would lose it forever! I landed with a thud on the cold, stone pavement. I couldn’t see a thing as my eyes we’re so full of tears from the pain. I tried to pull myself up to my feet still holding my blood stained arm. Right in front of me stood a group of young adults about my age maybe a little older, all I knew was that they were bad news!

There were about five altogether as far as I could see. At the back of the group stood two identical men, which I ashamed were twins, they were both holding what seemed to be a can of spray paint, but I could tell by the horrid stench that it was really garlic powder. In front of them stood two smaller boys, one holding a bow and the other holding a gun looking weapon. Finally at the front of the group stood an even smaller girl. She held a hand sized cannon like machine which shone bright red with heat. They were all dressed in casual clothes, but she wore a beed blood red t-shirt with a black leather jacket and jeans with a face almost of anger. She may have been the smallest of the group but she was obviously the bravest, strongest and scariest member... and the leader!

I was starting to freak out because I knew, I was trying to tell myself I was wrong, but I still couldn’t face the fact that they were slayers!

Oh what was I to do. I started slowly walking baby steps backwards. It was like a funfair mirror that turns you into six surrounding you because the group of slayers started copying me, moving forward towards me. I turned as if I was in a pile of mud, and ran. I couldn’t fly because of my arm so instead I just sprinted not knowing at all where I was going. I didn’t want to look behind me as I was scared that the slayers would be hot on my trail, they we’re defiantly there though. I could hear their every step on the hard, hot road. I ran down an alleyway trying to cut some of them off but it was a bad idea! It was a dead end. I tried to climb up the wall but my arm tore across the bricks opening my wound even more. What was I to do? My arm may have been hurt but I did not want to think of this as the end! I turned into my bat self once more and flow over the building gasping for breath in pain, I couldn’t hold it much longer. I crash landed into a fruit cart not that far from the alleyway. I could hear them, the slayers, but I was safe. I was deep inside the cart unseen, plus I was so tired.

“Where is she? You idiots you can’t have lost her, what will the master say?” it was the girl shouting at the top of her voice, angrily at her colleagues.

“I’m sorry! She flew, we lost her over this building.” Said the timid voice of one of the twins.

“It’s not all our fault!” murmured the other trying to stand up for his brother.

“Ya, if you hit her properly with the sun raise cannon then we wouldn’t be on this stupid chase would we? She would already be dead: we’re not the idiots you are!” cried the voice of one of the younger boys sounding much older and braver than his obvious age.

I was so scared to lift my head to see what was happening, but there was a sudden bang and a huge cry, followed by gasps.

“Anyone else think I am an idiot?” she asked calmly as if nothing had happened. There was no reply.

“Good! Let’s go.”

The poor boy! I waited a few minutes before I peeked out of my hidding place. On the floor about a meter away was the dead body of the boy his head covered with blood and a bullet sticking out from the side. I felt my eyes fill with tears. I ran as far away as possible to find somewhere for the night.
