Will You Remember Me?

Part 1: New Friends

First day of college, new people, new environment. This is the time where students mature but this time I don't know what I'm gonna do.

I was in front of the campus gate nervous about what gonna happen to me, do my classmate will accept me, or maybe I need to change my attitude. When I walk towards the entrance students are in line and the guard in the end of the line inspecting the bags of the students. After my bag have been inspected the guard suddenly called me "sir, sir na nakasalamin", did I do something wrong? Did he saw something in my bag that is not allowed? " ako po ba sir?" I replied. And he replied immediately while gesturing to come near him "opo sir", I approached him and ask "a..a.ano po yun sir? Ma..ma..may violation p...po ba ko??" I was really nervous and I don't know if I did something wrong. The guard said "sir Hindi po kasi pwede yung swissknife na nasa side pocket niyo po, paki surrender na lang po sa office, dadaanan nyo po diyan pag pasok niyo po sa unang building pangalawang pinto." So I just node and I follow his instruction. And when I was in front of the office I knocked and a scary guy open the door and asked "ano kailangan mo sir?" I was frighten by his deep voice and I can't speak I was like frozen by fear. I just raise the Swiss knife hanging on my pointing finger. And he suddenly speak up "hmm.. Isu-surrender mo ba yan? Sige pumasok ka at fill up-an mo yung papers" he just approach a white desk and open its drawer and get a piece of paper. I just sat down and fill up the paper silently. After I finish filling up

I look at my wrist watch and I was shock that I was already late. Its already 8:36 so I ran and looked for room C-310 and when I arrived in the room it was relief because the professor is still not around, but its already 8:43. So I enter the room and I sat on the very corner of the class chairs. I rest myself with a deep breath and looked outside the window. Moments later I heard someone pull the chair beside me. She suddenly poke me and asked "hi, pwede magtanong?" I look at her and replied "sh..sure" she smiled and asked again "anong oras na?" I look at my watch and said "aahm...8:58 na po miss" and she smiled again and thank me, but she looks weird she wears very formal for a student, with high heals and a gray modern office attire, she even wearing make up. Maybe she's just a rich person, who knows?

The room was so noisy, I can't stay long on this kind of environment. I was covering my ears and suddenly the girl beside me stand up and walk towards the front and suddenly speak up "okey class mag si-upo na kayo." I was shoke that the one sitting beside me is our professor in English 001. My classmates sat down and the professor started to introduce herself.

"Okey class, I'll be your professor for English 001 for the whole semester and I'm expecting a cooperation from all of you. By the way, my name is cherry acoba, you can call me miss cherry........ OK class according to my record you are exactly 30 in this class room so I want you to group yourselves into 5 members each group, but you will do that silently."

Seriously? I don't know anyone of them. Maybe I need to change myself I don't need to be shy. I approach to a group of students near me but they said that they were already 5, I just lost hope that I van still have a group, I saw 4 students trying to find another member but they're look scary one of them is a large and scary guy. He is like a bully. So I sat down on the corner again and wait for nothing, I just feel hopeless.

I hear a girl laughing ridiculously coming near me so I use my secret technique "ignore" , I use this to prevent annoying person to approach me.

That girl whose laughing ridiculously was at my back and suddenly tap my shoulder. I didn't react and she tap again and put her hand on my shoulder. I turning my head to her side bit by bit, I saw her face smiling ridiculous looks like she's planning something ridiculous. She suddenly speak "bro, pwede ikaw na lang pang apat namin member? Ikaw na lang ata yung walang grupo" I just node for approval. She suddenly hold my wrist and pull me.
