“Summer vacation is on its way.”
I nod. “I know. What are your summer plans?”
“I'm going to call you every day and-”
“Wait, what?”
He looks at me. “I'm going to call you...every day.” He grins. “Until you let me meet your parents.”
I almost hit him. “Not on your life, Sunny D.”
He pouts. “Awe, why not?”
“Because they'll ruin your optimistic illusion.”
