"No! That was not a strike. You just pitch badly, Miles! Sophie is better than you, gosh darn it!" Ben yelled from his kicking spot. Miles rolled his eyes. "Oh well! That was your third strike, so you can move now so Drew can kick!"
Ben muttered something inaudible and walked back to the kicking line, next to Sophie, who was looking eager to kick. Ben gave her a swift kick in the shin, causing her to turn around. "What was THAT for?" She demanded, rubbing her shin. "You have feet made of freaking steel!"
Ben stared at her. She just said 'freaking!' Maybe this Anderson girl is more of a rebel then I thought she would be... Ben grunted and shrugged it off. "Get used to it." He muttered just as Drew kicked, shooting straight across the field and running all third bases, rounding back to home with a home run. Everyone cheered but Ben.
